Hey everyone,

I've been lurking for a while and don't think I've seen this listed anywhere as a new feature but here it is:

DND can now be set to silence everything even when the phone is unlocked. If I'm not mistaken it used to be only when the phone was locked.

Was in B1 but still a good addition.

Yeah I saw it in Beta 1 as well but I was just lazy about posting...lol

I did post it before... :p

That's good to hear! I have an iCloud backup of iOS 7 and one iTunes backup of iOS 6...I need to NOT EVER backup over that one lol

I've spent most of my day on this... Hope it solves the battery drain issue like many have said it does...

My battery has improved A LOT in Beta 2 from Beta 1. The battery drain was the one thing that prevented me from using iOS 7 as my daily driver. Now in Beta 2 its a different story. I love it! Almost 24 hours and no major problems so far.

I would like to see a chime activation when the battery has finished charging. Maybe allow the user to pick his or her own ringtone or itunes file to associate with notifying user when battery is charged.

Thats a great idea. I often charge my phone in a different room and it would be nice to have it let me know that its done instead of me checking it all the time.

A "done" button was added to the dictionary. In beta 1 you had to force close an app to exit the dictionary.

Thank you. I do the same from time to time. The other reason is a lot of people ask how do you know when the phone is done charging. The chime would take care of that question, and hopefully take care of some people removing the phone before it is completely charged, even if it is showing 100%.

I was thinking that the alarm clock that is now in Control Center, could serve a dual purpose. Once the phone is plugged in, it initiates the alarm setting. If a person is also using the alarm clock to wake up in the morning, have a toggle off option, so you won't have to be awakened twice at night.

If I was a developer, I would give it a shot. If someone here would like to try it, please send me a pm. Maybe we could collaborate.

When using in message your last sent iMessage is blue, the previously and up after are a lighter blue

No, it's just subtle gradient. Scroll up in your messages and you'll see. They become gradually lighter from the top down.

Actually this gradient seems a bit out of place to me.

Fingers crossed... :D

Photos.app

The new Photos.app is interesting.

Collections contains locally saved images as well as images from Photostream. This is genius. The way it should always have been.

And even better, saving photos locally from Photostream does not result in duplicates in the Collections view. FINALLY.

Now we just need Photostream albums to also be shown in the collections view. They are not as of now, which seems a bit strange.

I'm hoping all photos will be moved to iCloud in the future. Don't want to organise they same photos on all my devices. This is definitely a step in the right direction, though. Photos.app is among my favourite new features.

Same here. Even with running the GPS it seems more stable. No more third degree burns in the palm of my hand. (thatswhatshesaid)

The lock screen now shows the timer countdown beneath the time if you have one set.

This is something I've wanted for a long time.

Only thing they messed up is the size. What good is being able to quickly check where the timer is at on the lock screen if they make it so small? It should be as big as the clock itself.

Siri was a little offended at some of the things people asked her. ;)

Has anyone else noticed this? This was happening in beta 1 as well. When you are listening to a song from music and then you lock the screen, the time does not show up anywhere on the lock screen. I am surprised this was not fixed in beta 2. Having to unlock the phone to check the time when listening to music is inconvenient.

Also, I found that the only instance it will show the time when you are playing music is when you play your music from the control center without unlocking the phone. But once you unlock the phone and lock it again, the time goes away.

My time appears on top for me.

Probably already been covered but folders now can hold 15 pages or 135 apps.

really? What about when you select a song from the Music app and then you lock your phone? Does it still show?

Nope. You're right. When I started it via the Music app, the status bar time disappeared.

When I stopped the music, locked the screen, used control center to start the music, the time remained. Very peculiar.

What's possibly even more interested, in the text for the allow calls section it mentions "incoming calls and messages..." although it still doesn't seem to work for messages, although the fact that the wording has been updated seems potentially interesting.

But, does it really matter if you remove the phone when it's not fully done charging even it says 100%? Or even if it's just 98%? It seems like you remove the phone when you want/need to, no matter if it's completely fully done or if it's at just 97% or something.

Just started getting the icloud window asking me for my password. Even though I enter the correct password, it ask me for the icloud password again. I didn't get that in beta 1. After several go-rounds, it finally accepted the password.

Looks like they added back being able to search a page in safari in the smart browser. I dont think it was there in beta 1.
