There are animated backgrounds! Neat!

BUT you can really feel that this is a beta. Not very polished. Animations are too slow in my opinion, so the overall interface feels slow.

Definitely needs more polish!

btw, using this for 5 minutes, I wouldn't recommend to install this on everyday use phone.

it's somewhat slow, and jittery.

Notice any apps that don't work? I remember that Netflix had issues during previous betas.

That makes me sad 🙁

That's one thing I love the most about iOS: the smoothness of the transitions and overall navigation.

Yep - I've got this on a development iPhone 5 - and the UI is very glitchy when doing certain things. You probably don't want it on a daily driver.

My biggest question is, where are the shadows at behind the icons?

They seem to be absent from your screenshots.

So you can upgrade to the iOS 7 beta and restore all your photo's and settings from iOS 6.1.4 with iCloud back up?

Mine 'failed' when trying to restore my 6.1.4 backup. I'm syncing manually. Not sure why.

To be fair - this is expected for a beta.. the devs are concentrating on issues/bugs etc. The animations and UI stuff will be polished up nearer release. The point of this release for now is to test apps on it and fix any bugs that iOS 7 has introduced - and to test the new APIs.
