Paid the money, got the enrolment email and then got this message

"We are unable to activate your Apple Developer Program membership.

We are unable to activate your Apple Developer Program membership because we are unable to successfully verify your identity. Please contact us and reference Enrollment ID# ABCDEFGHIJ for further assistance."

I also get

In the member centre

However, how do they verify my identity because i am a single person, not a company, I dont get this?

that's what happen when you use your grandparents credit card to enroll ios dev.

you have to get a copy of your drivers license notarized. it was a huge hassle when I signed up.

To be fair - this is expected for a beta.. the devs are concentrating on issues/bugs etc. The animations and UI stuff will be polished up nearer release. The point of this release for now is to test apps on it and fix any bugs that iOS 7 has introduced - and to test the new APIs.

Very true. It will be interesting to update to each new beta and see the progression to the final release.

A lot of the time you can only update to the beta on a Mac, since that's the only way to developer for it anyways.

I think you need a photo id of some sort. it was a few years ago I don't really remember I just remember it was a weeklong ordeal.
