Anybody else thinks the new design is a disaster?

Both the amount of white and thin font make reading very uncomfortable.

The icon, and app design in general, are not very pleasant either - The screens look gorgeous and nice on the internet, even the ones I make look very good, but in real life, the feeling is very... ugh, I can't really find the right word.

As always, thankfully this is a preview, and many things will change by launch this fall (if Apple decides to listen).

I guess this is based on actually using it on your iPhone? The screenshots look great to me, but that's not the same as actually trying it out, so I was witholding judgement.

Maybe you also need to get accustomed to the new look?

I've never once heard of Apple going after devs for posting info about betas that have already been publicly revealed.

Pretty scummy move, regardless.

He said at the end he could not get Siri to work at all. (Im guessing its still getting set up for iOS7)

It works fine, they probably didn't turn siri on in settings

I've never once heard of Apple going after devs for posting info about betas that have already been publicly revealed.

At most I've heard was them disabling some developers accounts for doing so and accounts that are known sellers of their 100 slots.

I used to have access to a developer account that sold slots and everyday they'd shut it down and the owner would have to make a new one.

Def not a preview worth having as the main OS on iPhone, but a preview to start preparing apps.

Its far from a disaster. It's new. You're used to the old. I think the change is great. There are some things that are "different" from what I'm used to but that's fine. All in all, so far I love it. Pretty damn nice for a Beta.

There will be issues here and there. To be expected.

The one thing that I kinda don't like is any non Apple app icon is going to be the not so cheerful colors.

It works for me now! Probably just an issue with my cellular data!

Yes it is.

Maybe by the end of the week I'll be accustomed, but I think this radical change may be a shock to many once they get their hands on the phone - sort off like what happened with Apple Maps.

Every single feature of iOS, and all its functionality is still there, but there is something unpleasant about it.

I really think that they could've redesigned some of the icons better. Hopefully they'll update it later, but if they don't then i'll be jailbreaking it for sure.

How are the new voices for Siri? Which one do you prefer?

Siri didn't work for me in the video, but it works now. It's still using that "beta voice" that sounds extremely robotic. Not sure if the new voices will pop up soon, but hopefully we see them before public release!
