I'm assuming you didn't pay for your beta use thru Apple or else you'd know the answer to this question.
Lol says the guy who thinks you pay for Beta use.....
You are paying for access to Apple's developer tools. The betas are opened up to developers so they can implement the new APIs and tools Apple has put out.
You aren't paying to be a beta tester....
If there's a separate/different initial boot up "animation", just as there's separate/different initial welcome and set up process, compared to any other boot up, then a regular boot up (after restarting) could very well use the old boot up "animation". Might be a new difference, but doesn't really seem hard to imagine. That would be correct but the white background and black apple wouldn't change back.
Not necessarily though either. Developers are given slots that they can give out to other people to test their stuff, and accordingly to test their stuff in relation to an OS update those people would need to have a the new OS update as well. Those people aren't necessarily developers, but they are part of the process nonetheless. If you didn't pay for a developer access through Apple you're doing it wrong. These are the same people that complain on here about flaws when MacRumors won't/can't do anything about it.

True I didn't payed, and no what I meant was, will iOS7 Beta 2 still fully (since it's only 200 MB operational after the expire date of Beta 1?
Perhaps that's the new initial (set up) boot up screen, but the usual/regular one is still the same as it was before--black with a white Apple logo.
Yeah, the boot up screen for regular boots is the same as it was with beta 1 as far as I can tell.I don't have the new boot screen. My does the frozen spinning wheel
Yes.....otherwise how would any of our phones function? Are you assuming that devs aren't restricted by the same expiration dates? Of course they are - all the date means is Apple will stop signing the first beta by that date so there's no way (unless you have the ipsw's saved) to downgrade.
Much like there are still some people on iOS 5 even though Apple hasn't signed iOS 5 in over a year.
It's not like Apple has some "kill switch" that will render all iPhones on beta 1 useless.
Loving the new shake the phone to re-dial the previous number feature
Will be a nice time saver.
Like? And compared to how many existed in beta 1 and were addressed in beta 2?I'm going back to beta 1, beta 2 has more bugs
mine started installing after over 2:30 hours (iphone 4)Hi guys i'm coming at you because I need your expertise.
I tried installing the beta 2 OTA but my phone's stuck on the preparation screen.
It's been stuck for almost an hour now.
Is it normal ?
I'm running ( I was ... ) iOS 7 b1 on an iPhone 5.
Thanks![]()
The expiration of the beta means a lot more than that, the iDevice will be locked and you are forced to update the iOS. I know because it happened to one of my devices.
What is this horrid thing they've done to the dock?
