Has anyone noticed this?

Open Safari and put it into Landscape mode. While in Landscape, double click to stop the app running. Go to portrait and home screen and the wallpaper disappears goes black. Wallpaper comes back when when phone locked and slide to open.

I've had this happen a few times, and not just with Safari. Not a huge deal, but I've reported it as a bug.

So, as I can see this bug wasn't fixed in Beta 2, so I'll write about it here, so you people could report it, because it is very annoying bug.

Okay. When you are in page for example, where I am writing right now (Desktop version of MacRumors, not mobile), if I were on my mobile (damn it, I can't tell it very well in English…), writing a long post and when the text box is wider than my iPhone's screen, after writing so much, so that I reach the very right side of the screen and if I keep writing more, I can't see the text anymore, because that text box remains in the same spot as it was before, in iOS 6 it moves automatically.

Sorry for my English, I hope you understand what I am trying to say, if not, please say so, I'll try to explain it better. We really need to report this to Apple, to get it fixed in the next beta.

So you're basically saying that the OS isn't tracking your typing when you go off screen?

Actually, this will happen any time you use the app switcher to close the app you were just in. It has nothing to do with landscape or portrait.

Doesn't happen to me when I use the app switcher other than when I switch between landscape and portrait - using iPhone 5.

That's odd. I'm also using an iPhone 5 and it happens every time. I just tried it again. I launched the app store, then double-tapped home to get the app switcher. I swiped away the app store, then tapped home to return to the home screen. My wallpaper promptly disappeared.

One interesting observation: even though the wallpaper is black, both the dock and folder backgrounds still show "frosted glass" in colors that suggest my original wallpaper is still behind them.

Just tried your same combination and same happens for me. Interestingly though it doesn't happen on all apps.

It's not just the App Store. Do that with any app and you'll get the same result.

Weird. Does for me.

Anyone's keyboard shortcuts not working for forms anymore?? I usually use shortcuts for filling my email for log-in forms and now it doesn't work. It still works for other things like notepad or email tho. Bug?

I haven't tried it on every app, but it has happened on every app I've tried. I'm curious: which app did you try where it didn't happen? I'd like to try it and see if it's the same for me.

Overall I really like iOS 7, but I had to downgrade back to iOS 6.1.4 yesterday because of the battery issue. I did everything that everyone recommended. Clean Installs, Reset Network Settings, toggle everything off (auto updates, background refresh, wallpaper motion, etc). And still my battery was draining really fast.

Right now I'm at 45% battery life with 4.5 hours of usage (on iOS 6). When I had iOS 7 I could barely hit 2 hours of usage by 45% and on any given day I would get anywhere between 3.5 - 4 hours usage total (just barely). iOS 6 I'll definitely get 8 hours or more usage.

I hated going back to iOS 6 because it really does look and feel dated. But battery life has improved so much that its worth it for right now.

I'm just worried that these battery issues will carry through to the final version of iOS 7.

Just updated to iOS 7. I'm on beta 2 and I keep trying to open the eBay app but it is crashing. It shows the eBay logo as if it's loading the app, but after a few seconds it just crashes. Anyone else experiencing this with the eBay app?

General consensus is that the eBay app does not work at all as of yet.

I've got it to happen almost every time now (but not always), by double clicking the home button while the app is full screen. I usually press the home button once to go back to the folder or background before double clicking the home button to close the app. Funnily enough, it happens more often when I'm charging the phone.
