IOS 7 Beta 4, iPhone 5 is dead and wont recognize charger.

There's a reason why Apple says not to put betas on your main device, but beta 5 has been working fine for me.

Haha, thank you very much. If anyone reads this in the future, putting the phone into DFU mode is really touchy, the timing is very exact. I had to try it several times for it to actually work.

Same thing happened to me with beta 1 (about a month back) and it ended up that my charging receptor was dying. Before this incident were you having any problems getting it to see a charger? If so you might want to call and get it exchanged (which unfortunately means putting it back on 6.1.4) which can be an issue all in itself when it can't recognize the cable! But I am glad you got it working currently!

I said if there's a bug that causes it, then it's possible. Apple probably fixed the issue by now.

For future reference, you can used Xcode to put a device into DFU mode as well.
