It's too soon for anyone to be sure that it fixes the JB. I expect quite a few will barely of just installed it, yet alone studied the kernel. Just because the evasion program doesn't work means nothing.

Besides, whos twitter account is that?

He's an in house tester and developer for Apple. I usually submit my findings of bugs to him.

@iH8sn0w tweeted "By early analysis, Not much seems patched in 7.1b4 as far as userland exploits go. Unsure about kernel."

Fingers crossed...

Not really patched, just buggered a bit...

Hopefully this means 7.1 gets a fast jailbreak as 7.1 has made significant changes we need.

I think this is being said because the Evasi0n7 application just doesn't support beta 4 yet, like it has been said it is way to early to tell.

Lets just keep our fingers crossed.

So my question is if I install the beta 4 can I still go back to 7.0.4 and JB?

You can for as long as Apple continues signing 7.0.4, but once they release the next version, then you will only be able to get that, and will have to hope that a jailbreak becomes available soon.

My understanding is that Apple will not release 7.1 until March, but 7.0.5 could be released possibly any minute, or possibly never!

My uneducated guess would be 7.0.5 will be released around the time beta 3 expires. That would end further JB. Although I thought I read before that apple has never released an update just to patch a JB.

How much can you blame iH8sn0w for this one, as they burned the biggest exploit they've had for the past couple of years..?

BL.

You can't blame him at all, because that exploit wasn't used in iOS 7's jailbreak and iH8snow has nothing to do with evasi0n.

Read up on some facts before you run your mouth off.

Who said I'm running my mouth off? I'm just asking a question. Perhaps you should practice some restraint before running yours.

In short, pot, kettle, black.

what does that have to do with the iOS 7 jailbreak? ih8sn0w and winocm played no role in the iOS 7 jailbreak
