So I say again: not at all. This will have no impact on iOS 7.1 jailbreak (if that's a thing any time in the near future). There is no 'last hole' or 'last exploit'. Another will be found in short time. If it hasn't already.

They never said this was a last hole, this hole allows them to find other holes a lot easier. It's like writing a 5 page essay in a font size of 20 instead of 2.

I think and hope iOS 7 is that rushed and bugged that even 7.1 will be jailbroken within hours. The jailbreak team may have found lots and lots of exploits.

This thread is the reason why several of the jail breakers have gotten out of the business. The mentality in this thread has always been "if you have an exploit, why aren't you releasing it. You OWE it to us now now now. Don't wait, no matter what, I am owed NOW"

And then they release it, and you realize that it burns an exploit (if this is a shock you have no business jailbreaking), and all of a sudden you turn on those who released it, after praising them over and over for finally releasing a jailbreak.

The people whining on this thread are just as bad as those in the "Should I buy a ____ now or wait until the next model?" threads. There will always be a next iOS version, and as soon as a jailbreak comes out, the device is going to be legacy in terms of software because it's Apple's responsibility to patch it.

For those who say "should have waited until 7.1" you were the same ones saying "wait until 7.0.4, wait until 7.0.3, 7.0.2" . . . at some point you have to bite the bullet and buy that new computer, even knowing that there will always be a newer model coming out.

People, appreciate what you've been given.....

- You are NEVER entitled to a jailbreak
- You have no right to complain about something you didn't create or pay for
- You have no right to complain about how slow or fast a jail brake is released
- You have no right to expect a jailbreak

Right now we have a version of iOS that's still out, still being signed, and still able to be jailbroken, and people in this thread are complaining that the current jailbreak has been patched in a version of software that's not even public yet. It's pretty pathetic behavior if you ask me.

Except 7.1 is clearly better than 7.0.4...

I guess I'm going to start creating threads from random strangers twitter feeds about beta 4 and evasi0n from now on....

TS, he might be who you say he is ;) But he is no one in reality and clearly doesn't know. LMK when you create a real thread w proper tweets.

He's that guy from Apple!

We don't want to believe it, but the reality is there are many many iOS beta testers out there, and there's no logical explanation as to why someone would take the time to tweet that they've tested it and it's been patched.

You knew it was more likely than not to get patched in b3 or b4, so to act like this is some crazy notion and that the person posting isn't credible is absurd.

Ok, 7.1 is exponentially better than 7.0.4...

Really? With the new slide-to-power-off, and the sparking slide-to-unlock? Yeah, so exponentially better.

I have a 2013 car. I hear this year they put a little rubber lining in the upholders to prevent cups from spinning on rough roads. I guess I better trade in my car and get the exponentially better year newer model, hehe

Either you are trolling, or you don't have an iPad running 7.0.4.

I do. I am on 7.0.4 on my mini retina, and it works great. I don't see any widespread complaints on here about performance issues, so maybe it's you that's trolling?

I read everyone's post. Some agree, some not and some angry.
Whatever you guys say I look at this pic and say 'wow this must be a very difficult job and they do it for nothing' So I respect every single JB developer for what they've done for the community and for us.

Wait I just got an iPhone 5s, can I still jailbreak it tonight? Is Apple still signing 7.0.4?

Lets stop the bickering, discuss the topic, do not attack or flame the other members.

Any news about a restore utility for iPhone 4 on 7.x? For now attempting to build an ipsw with 7.1 blobs in ifaith will only cause an unhandled exception error.

People have already tested the same hex edit on evasion used to get it working on b3. I believe it's safe to say b4 is patched.

B3 for life (until the next jb :p)
