I restored my iPhone 5 and set it up as a new phone.

I'm currently at 50% with 3 hours, 8 minutes of use and 7 hours, 32 minutes of standby.

Most of the use was with Wifi and setting the phone up, downloading apps, setting apps, a few phone calls, some mails and light web surfing.

I'm not seeing any big difference with beta 6 or even with iOS 6.1.4

Edit.

I have Parallax on and background updates off.

I might turn Parallax off though, not thrilled with that feature.

23% Battery

5 Hours, 4 Minutes Usage
8 Hours, 12 Minutes Standby

Seems decent to me. Wish it was a touch better though, I'd like it to be closer to 40% at this point, not 23%.

Been on WiFi the whole time, AT&T tower is kinda flaky around here.

With ios6, iPhone 5, I would get a full day's usage (for me 7:00AM to about 6PM) before getting down to 20-30%. This includes being on wifi most of the day, periodically using the Facebook App, sometimes streaming Sirius, pretty routine usage for me day to day. Same stuff.

Today I landed around 40-50% now that I check. For me this is an improvement. I would sometimes worry after getting home from work if I needed to chill for a bit to get a charge before getting back out. But a 40-50% charge at the end of the work day means an improvement to me. Will have to check more after a couple of days to see if it's consistent. I usually burn 5-10% my first hour of the day and today it was more like 3-5% so much improved.

I know this might sound like a stupid question but I need to go and my phone isn't still charged (I think).

In iOS6 and before you could tell if the phone was fully charged by looking at the upper small icon. (See attached image). Is this still valid for iOS7? Just installed GM and it's been charging for some time now and there's still the lightning icon next to it… No plug whatsoever.
Icon doesn't change in iOS 7. Just go by the percentage basically.

Doing pretty good for me :). Bout to go to sleep and see how it is in the morning :D.

Couldn't be arsed switching to English but you get it anyway ;)
This is on my iPhone 4S, iOS 7 GM updated from 6.1.3, iCloud backup restored. Everything is on except from most system localization services. Brightness set at 30%, auto. I'm not impressed but it wasn't that good on iOS 6 aswell anyway.

Here's my battery usage for an almost typical day for me. My usage is usually:

-Checking Facebook more often that I'll admit
-Checking Intagram ^^
-Fetching of Email (2 accounts) every 30 min
-Using Stuff (A news app)

and other bits and bobs.

I know it says the iPhone has been plugged in since being charged, but that was to export this photo so I could upload it. The battery wouldn't of charged no more than 2%.

and on the ipad mini (beta 6) was almost 14 hour and 1 day in standby now in GM its like 8 hours of use and 15 standby

beta 6 ftw!!!

i installed the gm last night coming from beta 6 and i have used my iphone 4 for 1 and a hlf hours and its used 3% battery and is on 97%. the battery life is great!

:apple::apple::apple::apple::apple:

Brand new iPhone 4S
iOS 7 GM installed and setup as new.

At 2% left, here are the results:

Usage: 7 hours 12 minutes

Standby: 14 hours 21 minutes

I'd say that's pretty damn good.

ios7 GM installed on my iphone5:

Usage: 5 hours, 29 mins
Standby: 10 hours, 32 mins

Battery percentage: 36%

no complaints here.

This iOS7 is draining my battery dead, even after killing all apps and making my screen dark, LTE, Bluetooth and Wifi are turned off and I can see the battery going down like 1 percent every 1 or 2 minutes...

This is without wifi or Bluetooth on. Absolutely abysmal for a gm. I'm hoping it is a specific application that is draining the battery so when it is updated this OS will be usable. And before someone says anything I just turned Bluetooth on for a few minutes when I took the screenshot

Can't say I can be all that bothered timing these things, but it doesn't feel any worse than iOS6 and at times I look and think it might be a little better. Still struggles to do a full day without a little top up, and always have it charging overnight.

Before ios 7 I had 4 hours of usage (rigth before the battery would die)

I would say anything is an improvement, yesterday before it died I saw 5 hours of usage!

Rigth now I am at 61% and have 2 hours, 15 min of usage which is pretty damn good for me!

Don't know specific times but im getting much better battery life on the GM than on Beta 6 on my iPad Mini and iPhone 4. Was having to charge my iPad every day, now i can get about 1 and a half days out of it :D

It seems that I never get the "fully charged" icon on iOS 7 no matter how long I leave it plugged in. I did restore from upgrade. I was going to restore again not from upgrade but at this point do I just wait for apple to release final version? I know in the past usually the GM version is the final version but I think ill just wait it out! Battery is not that bad were I cant get past the next 2 days.

See page 1 of this thread. Thats the way it is. no icon change when fully charged on iOS 7. no restore needed.
