Finally got it to run. I'm only trying it on my iPad 3. If something goes wrong, I can restore. But I buy my bus pass on my iPhone 5. i can't restore that until the pass expires on Thursday.

I've started a new thread with this but it seems like it is very important.

It may be best waiting a few days to jailbreak.

Weirdly the readme says that 7.1 betas are supported,
SUPPORTED FIRMWARES:

- iOS 7.0, 7.0.1, 7.0.2, 7.0.3, 7.0.4, 7.1beta1, 7.1beta2

but before that it says that

- evasi0n7 1.0 is an untethered jailbreak for all iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini models running iOS 7.0 through 7.0.4

So does beta 2 work or not? And can you patch the expiration date if possible?

Edit: Yes

If you’re jailbreaking iOS 7.1 betas with evasi0n, remove the ReleaseType Beta Value in SystemVersion plist to remove the expiry!

I wonder if people that are getting into loops still have a passcode lock on and/or encrypted backup?

- Those who use backup passwords in iTunes must disable them for now. After doing so, iTunes makes a brand new backup. Please wait for that backup to complete before proceeding! Feel free to re-enable your backup password after jailbreaking.
- Please disable the lock passcode of your iOS device before using evasi0n. It can cause issues.

Mine's all done, iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.4. No issues. Well, except there aren't any tweaks available for iOS 7 yet.

iOS 7 JB Released

So if I jailbreak, I can just update Cydia from my phone and it'll all be good?

Yeah when the updated Cydia comes out it will come up in the Cydia app.

Btw. JB works fine in my mini retina running ios 7 beta 2

Perhaps a stupid question, but is the JB tethered or un-tethered?

Couldn't find any reference to that anywhere....

I agree that there's no reason to jailbreak yet. At least not until things get updated. The jailbreak worked for me, but nothing worked for me.

What a good day this is turning out to be! Even though few (if any) of the tweaks are updated to work on iOS 7, it just feels good to see that Cydia icon on my new 5s.

Can someone tell me how to remove the expiry date on the b2 build? I appreciate it
