iOS 7 Music Player - Every Problem I encountered

A major problem I've found has to do with the scrubber, at least on the lock screen when trying to scrub you miss it constantly and swipe , unlocking your device rather than scrubbing through the track... Sorry but up there at the top where the scrubber is it should not recognize swipe to unlock, everywhere else is good but stop it clear at the top...

Amazing! At least I'm not crazy, I thought it was just me! This is the most annoying issue I have with the music app. I've submitted a bug report on https://developer.apple.com/bug-reporting, let's see if they fix it.

Artist/Album

My biggest issue is Artist/Album. My wife and I have a huge library. We have many albums from the same artist. If you select and artist, she wants to play one album, often when going to sleep. The old app did this, the new one will play right into the next album.

Major hassle.

Here's one I'll be checking when iOS7.1 comes out

1. I select Genres and can see I have 87 Classical songs.
2. Once in Classical, I can see my albums and songs, but some of those albums are Compilations by Various Artists, such as "Essential Classics".
3. If I scroll down to the "Various Artists" section, the thumbnail shows a Jazz album and says I have 780 songs
4. Looking inside, it shows me all of my Compilation albums, whether they are Classical or not.

I therefore have no way of thumbing through a Genre is that Genre contains compilation albums from Various Artists.


I know that if I set the app to not group by Album Artist, that certainly helps, but it is very clumsy. (also not quite correct when it sees songs with no Artist)

Just found this thread, haven't had a chance to read through but here is my iOS 7 Music Player problem:

- On play some songs skip, and are removed from the device once skipped (iPhone 5/iPad Mini Retina)

I plan on resetting both devices tonight, and re-sync'ing.

Most of the songs in my iphone library have a red box with a circle around it.
These songs wont play....any ideas on how to fix?

Someone needs to make this thread a sticky

When ever i try to use iTunes Radio it me back to the stations page then when I go back to the station I was trying to use it skips the song and counts this towards my skips. It does that 2-4 times.

Not fixed, but at least you can now shuffle a Genre easily

I'm sorry but I feel that iTunes Radio has to many adds.

On my phone at least. Like after EVERY song.

I don't mind but I feel it's a bit excessive.

Does any have the same issue?
