Yeah I also tend to notice some chopiness in my iPad 3. Some stuff loads up a lot slower now than before.

............

But I also tend to not leave a lot of stuff open and running, at once. My OCD requires me to regularly close everything.

I'm the same way. If I quit using an app I almost always close it, not just send it to the background. My wife on the other hand......never mind, I won't go there

Regarding 7.0.2, I think it feels a little smoother but that could be wishful thinking.

Ha ha ha!! I have a friend that's always complaining about his battery life and if you look, he's got tons of stuff running all at once, location services on, bluetooth on (he doesn't even own a bluetooth device), brightness up the full way and etc.

Everything working great on both iPad 3 and iPhone 5. I really like iOS 7 so far.

Only small thing I noticed was one game app quit working in landscape. I'm sure that will be updated soon.

This makes me not want to update yet the installer has downloaded itself, taking up 3Gb of the capacity on my 16Gb iPad (so quite a chunk.) Poor show Apple :(
