Why does the keyboard look black in the iTunes & App Store?

I like the transition. Spot the app thats not been updated by the old style keyboard :)

Also, in that updates tab in the App Store - if you click on the updated app once, it will show the release notes for the most recent update. Click it again, and it will take you to the actual app page in the App Store.

I checked it again, and it doesn't do this on the iPad. As far as I can tell there's no way to show the product page and reviews from the updates page, I had to keep going back to the purchases page and clicking from there.

No it doesn't show reviews and the product page from the updates page. You have to click the App icon in the updates page to take you into the App Store and to the products page.

If the clock app can display the correct time, why can't they make the weather app display the current temperature? I feel like that would be useful for people to just glance at.

The clock icon doesn't bother me, but you see the time from literally every screen throughout the entire OS. Why not make weather visible from another spot?

Snow blindness and eye strain

This upgrade was the first time when I've been using the iPhone less after upgrade. Because of the eye strain from the poorly designed user interface I don't find it a pleasure to use anymore. I will not upgrade on my iPad before the user interface has been improved, perhaps with an option to select background color for the built-in apps, the keyboard etc.

iOS7 Snow Blindness, waiting for a fix!

Remove Flying Icons?

Can someone tell me how to disable the fly in of icons when I turn on the phone? It makes me dizzy.

No, that's my point. Clicking on the app icon in the updates page does nothing. The only way I've been able to get to the products pages is by clicking the app icons in the purchases page.

Have you tested this on iPad? I'm trying to figure out if you are on an iPad that's behaving differently or if you are on iPhone.

Productivity hit? Really? Spotlight is way faster for non-1st page-of-the-folder apps anyway. Just do a better job organizing stuff.

Really? I have a Music folder in the bottom right corner of my phone. Of that the bottom right app (#10) was Podcasts. To access that, prior to iOS7, it was:
1. Unlock phone
2. Tap lower right
3. Tap lower right

Now it's:
1. Unlock
2. Tap lower right
3. Swipe right
4. Tap upper left

And what you are saying is:
1. Unlock
2. Swipe down
3. Type Pod
4. Find it in the list
5. Tap it.

I'll take the pre-iOS 7 For The Win. Thanks.

Sorry, I didn't realize you were a slow typer. Carry on.

I just tested this out with an app that is on the first page of a folder that is on my second screen. Unlock > swipe down > type yelp > tap yelp app was faster than Unlock > swipe left > tap folder > tap yelp app

Go get Android device. Why are you here?

Because I've been here a lot longer than you....

And yes, I have an Android device, just like I have a whole lot of Apple devices.

This forum is for rational people, not for religious freaks. So why are you here?

Apple really needs to allow us to replace that primitive keyboard. Not next year, but now.

P.S. Thanks to DeadSeaMac and the others who pointed out that I missed the iRadio Airplay control.

I still find the iRadio station-mix algorithm not up to the level of Pandora, while the quality appears lower than MOG.

MOG streams at 320kbps. Does anyone know the rate at which iRadio streams?

Why [did you turn off Automatic Updates]? I'm curious as the sound of the feature seems really cool and something I'd want on. Haven't tried it yet.
Mainly because I like to know what each new version of an app contains before I update it.

There's no way to turn that off.

Well after almost five days with ios 7 battery life is worse. And random apps freeze or just quit. Even setting randomly quits. I like 7 overall but fix the bugs.

actually, I find it odd, you now see a BIG apple logo on the ipad and a small one on the iPhone. (when in DFU) mode upon power-on.

Apple is no longer signing older ipsw files prior to iOS7 making downgrading to 6.1.3 impossible. WTF?????? I knew I shouldn't have upgraded. I was just a little curious. It's not terrible, but I definitely enjoy the look of the older iOS. I think this ridiculous that after only 3 days of the launch of iOS7 that you can no longer downgrade and I am extremely upset. I'm on a 4s and it is lagging a bit and I've done all of the possible power tweaks. I just want my old phone back and that should be my choice, not Apple's to make

Ya

I agree here.. My 4s is tad slow too, and in all honesty, if Apple were going to prevent downgrades by not signing previous versions anymore, at least extent the period they stop, so (we) loyal users have like a "cooling off period", where we can test the latest iOS, then after week or 14 days, we can downgrade within this time-frame, more than enough for people to see.

They do it via physical products from the Online Store, they can do it with this do.

This is like saying "We don't care about our customers, we just want you to use what we give you", which sux big time...

if Apple really cared for their customers, they would give us options, and 2-3 days is nothing at all.

So ya, unfortunately i upgraded because I thought it would be better, as in performance wise........

You know, you can tell the icons are over-layed on the home screen..

Just double tap Home, and view the icons on a blue background screen.

For the life of me, i have no idea why Apple left this in.... Surly this could have been all transparent.........even if it was shrunk. Would look more professional.

The icons are way too transparent while downloading.

you can no longer see the progress since it now all-in-one

Bring back the separate bar. Its not always obvious, depends on the colors of the icon and or design.
