I'm ok with this... it actually looks good.

The question is: would OS X also reflect these changes? If not, apps on both platforms would look completely different (Notes, Reminders, Messages, Calendar, Contacts, etc.).

I have to imagine the apps on OS X will change with the next version to reflect these changes.

No doubt Ive has already created a name and general theme for this new design language and it will spread across all of Apple's software.

I Really like those Settings =)

not sure about the others though, i cant see Apple redesigning the Music app and its iTunes & App Stores because they did that last WWDC... so maybe the other stock apps will be redesigned to match their texture style?

I figure the new Music app won't be too different, but it might have an album view similar to iTunes. Do people use album view much in the iOS music app?

Not currently because it sucks. If it looked like iTunes 11, I would use it a lot.

Geez, I really hope Panoramic Wallpaper doesnt take up 15 minutes of WWDC to be touted as a major feature (if rumor is accurate).

While everyone is anxiously awaiting io7 to outed, I wonder if previous gen devices such as the iPhone 5 will miss out on more desired features like previous years.

I am not sure whether the new ios is going focus on a software integrated with hardware approach which Apple has been aiming for, if so how is this new revamp going to affect the regular updating patterns of previous years i.e. ios6 can run on a 3GS. Will this years update see a greater demise of iOS devices like the iphone 3GS, 4 etc.

The 3GS is likely not going to run iOS7. The 4 likely will, but will not run iOS 8. iPhone 5 will clearly get iOS 7.
