iOS 8.0 Beta 2 Bug Fixes and Changes

I can't add pictures to my phone in iTunes, is that a bug? I have loads of great backgrounds, and i don't have the option in iTunes, do i need the beta of iTunes also?

This feature is in iOS 7.

Not to sure if I understand correctly, but when you enable private mode, it switch to private mode with no tab. All tabs you opened in normal mode are kept, but will not show up in private mode. When you get out of the private mode, all tabs opened in private mode will not show up until you switch back to private mode.
 
Black Point and Cast added into the Photos app when editing a picture.

Hi all ty for the good job , i have question please :
is the second beta is now more stable and not lag so much / crash / respring & reboot a lot Compared to the previous beta , thx :)

It seems to be running much smoother so far, less lag and a lot fewer crashes.
 
I think i'm going to have to wipe my phone clean and warranty it out. My phone wont even charge, sync, or do anything on beta 1. I cant even begin to install Beta 2

It says my phone is drawing "too much usb power" to sync.
 
Forgive me if this was available in beta 1 but it seems that in the Mail app on iPhone you can use the "swipe to hide draft" feature that was demoed for iPad at WWDC
 
I can also confirm full screen Caller ID as well. VZW 5S. Handoff still not working for my phone but does for my iPad Air. Private browsing saves my History. Have to manually clear it. Was like that as of 8 B1.
 
The Quick Type Keyboard only shows up when Auto Correct is enabled. I personally hate Auto Correct, but love the predictive keyboard. I hope you can toggle it individually in the future

This is a nice feature. I suspect a few people will be surprised. I've always said that a lot of people complaining about lousy battery life never consider the impact of their cellular network has.
 
Voice Control

Holding down the home button to summon Siri brings up 'Voice Control' instead of Siri :confused:

That happens for me too, but I noticed that when I tap on mail without a radio button, the number of messages selected does increase, and although it doesn't appear to be selected, it does delete.
