They would be going backwards if stability wasn't increasing... It's a beta; don't install it on your sole, everyday devices and then complain about it being unstable. 🙂

Since b1 my iTunes is just showing "other" taking up almost all of the space on my phone even though all of my apps and music is on the device but I cannot sync.

A lot of the time the phone was synced with a previous library or something is messed up. Usually a restore or different machine fixes it

For everyone complaining about Whatsapp not working. If you use iCloud syncing in Whatsapp (or any other app), it is NOT going to work in any iOS8 betas. It's an iCloud change. The app developer needs to update the app, but they can't release the app until iOS8 is available. You'll be stuck with a crashy app for the next few months (unless the app developer does an iOS8-friendly beta you can get in on, like 1Password did).

A restore of my library or of my phone? I've tried restoring my phone a bunch and nothing happens.
I have about 1600 unread messages. very frustrating, but that's the risk of installing beta software

Hey guys, I just noticed this, I think it's a (tiny) new feature but we all have a habit of missing things and then when we notice them thinking they're new, so go easy on me 😉
When you pull down spotlight search, if you have a recent search which is still saved there, now the search text is highlighted so you can immediately start typing a new search. I'm pretty sure before the cursor was at the end of the previous search, which would prevent being able to immediately do a search as you'd have to clear it first.

I hope they change the image for iCloud Photos, it just looks like the devices GPU has failed!
Settings now remembers your position when going back a page. In Beta 1 it would always take you to the top.
