App Store search results no longer have the app names cut off like "Instagr....". The results are properly aligned to the left now.

One can leave an app review now, there was no way to do so in beta 1

I am really really bored.

Is Beta 2 OK for a newb? Still too buggy for non-dev?

Until it is GM it is still too buggy for a non-dev. They will NEVER release a beta that is stable enough for non-dev users (or to be used on your day to day device). They call the stable release GM.

Hey guys, I just noticed this, I think it's a (tiny) new feature but we all have a habit of missing things and then when we notice them thinking they're new, so go easy on me ;)

When you pull down spotlight search, if you have a recent search which is still saved there, now the search text is highlighted so you can immediately start typing a new search. I'm pretty sure before the cursor was at the end of the previous search, which would prevent being able to immediately do a search as you'd have to clear it first.

Yes, in Beta 1 a new Spotlight search does open with the cursor at the end of the previous search string. Not sure I would have ever noticed the change though - I guess you must be a big Spotlight user!

I have ran betas on my daily driver before. There are crashes but if you need specific apps for day to day or don't have a 2nd cell, I would hold off unless you like to play at the cost of work.

Yeah this is just nerds being "too cool" nerds. I have run the 1st beta on my one and only daily use iphone since ios 5. Sure there are crashes and bugs from here and there, but the phone is pretty damn functional at beta 1. Some apps might not work, but there are no apps that I DEPEND on besides making phone calls, checking emails, and sending text.

Was this in Beta 1:

If you have multiple tabs open, you can continue pinching out to see the new Tab view. You can also pinch to zoom into other tabs from this view.

This was probably in Beta 1, but I don't remember seeing it.

Scrolling also seems very smooth across the entire system

It doesn't make any difference if you're a developer or a newb, the end experience will be the same, it's not as if devs can use their knowledge to make it run better for them. The only difference is that some devs will have second iPhones/iPads etc that they can afford to dedicate to beta testing while they still use their primary iOS 7 devices for Whatsapp Messenger or whatever else is important to them

SMOOTH! Also, the brightness adjuster on Settings.app now works, allowing the user to adjust the brightness outside of just the CC.

In beta 1, I was not able to send snapchat videos. The video would playback choppy and then the app would crash if I tried sending it to someone. Has this bug been fixed in beta 2?

Playback is still choppy, but they send and are clear and play perfectly to the recipient.

Definitely smoother scrolling.

Double space for period in safari is back!

No more iCloud password at every reboot or respring.

Auto brightness seems to not be all over the place.

This is annoying and new...typing in a text box on forum boxes auto scrolls to the top
