You mean not better than 8.1.2 or 8.1.1? To be honest, I have not seen any difference from 8.0, 8.0.2, 8.1 and 8.1.1. (never installed 8.1.2) If there was then I would say 8.1.1 maybe was the best. Jury still out for 8.1.3.

Yes, I meant not better than 8.1.2 .

----------

Looks like performance is significantly better on my 6. Scrolling on the homescreen / opening folders, etc. is much more fluid than 8.1.2.

I haven't noticed any differences.

Well, after two charge cycles on my 6+ I can report that (for me):

Battery life is just the same as 8.1.2 #
App crashing and screen freezing still exists
The only different thing I've noticed is that everything seems a bit faster.

iPhone 6+ landscape bug still present, making me hate this phone more every day...

Are you referring to switching from portrait to landscape, or not being able to activate links in landscape until you switch to portrait and then go back? Or both? These two things bug the hell out of me.

Is there still a problem with the data wheel spinning and sticking on some websites ? iPad air 2

iPhone 6+

I'm experiencing more instances of screen freezing with 8.1.3
than I was with 8.1.2 #
I'm getting it in the phone UI now and not just within apps as previously. I was just in the multitasking/app tray and the whole screen froze for maybe 10 seconds. That has never happened before.

The landscape bug isn't fixed for me either. I frequently get stuck in a landscape position and the accelerometer doesn't get me out of it, only the home button does. So in short, zero improvements for me with 8.1.3 save a slight increase in speed here & there (that I wasn't complaining about anyway).

Just a question, do you do your updates OTA by chance? I typically use iTunes and never have any issues with any of the updates (on a iP6 not plus) So far battery seems on par with 8.1.1 for me. I skipped 8.1.2. Still early to tell for sure but yesterday seemed normal (I actually had the screen on longer yesterday than normal doing stuff) OTA update has always seemed to cause more issues than iTunes.

I did this one OTA but usually via iTunes. It should just work though?? I spent ages with 8.1.2 doing a clean iTunes DFU install and setting up as new etc with zero improvements over the previous OTA install with iCloud backup...

I just find it strange that out of the box the battery life was fine and with an iPhone 5 backup too, OTA with iCloud backup to 8.1.1 was fine, OTA to 8.1.2 brought battery drain, a clean install and setting up as a new phone brought zero improvement, and doing an OTA to 8.1.3 has brought no improvement.

Yes it "should" but reality is it doesn't always. To note I have done OTA most of the time in the past and only once did the update need further attention getting it straight. I have found that closing all apps rebooting then OTA update seems to provide the best results. But I am at the PC mostly all day so just use iTunes to get the full install and avoid any potential issues. If you recall 8.0.1 worked for anyone who updated via iTunes but most everyone who did OTA (iPhone 6/6+) lost cellular and touch ID. It was not the iOS update itself but the delivery package in the OTA process.

I had planned to do a clean install of 8.1.3 anyway, I just did OTA to see how it went. Will go through the laborious process over the next few days, but I'm pessimistic considering my results with 8.1.2
I'm sick of iOS updates. If the damned phone had been bug-free out of the box I wouldn't have bothered ever doing any!

Keyboards definitely still don't work. I don't know why Apple praised this feature only to never have it work. Oh well. I'm so used to the old keyboard now no use in changing.

This is a worrying one.
I use my 6+ frequently in speakerphone mode for business calls. Since the update to 8.1.3 I now have to turn the volume higher to get the same level of sound. I now have the volume to approximately 75% vs. just over 50% I used in the past. I have rebooted the phone and this had no affect.
I do not know if this affect is present in other apps as I seldom use the speaker function for anything other than a call.

I'm trying to up date my iPhone 6 through iTunes with my MBP and it has hung up in the download process. Anyone else having this problem? Well actually it's hung up in the updating the software process.

I dont know if im being paranoid or this is actually a thing, but when i got my 6 last month the battery was great, now it seems to be dropping faster, this is before updating to 8.1.3 today as well.

My 6+ battery life was amazing out of the box, almost 12 hours of usage every single day. I installed 8.1.1 and the battery life was still amazing. However, ever since 8.1.2 I'm lucky to get more than 10 hours of usage. The battery life now is ok but nothing spectacular like it used to be.

There are probably about 5 or 6 people in the entire world who stare at their phone to watch such a drop or even notice. Out of them only a couple of them even care and they are both here in this forum.

That's typical I'm afraid, Apple claim to have never heard about the vast majority of problems before lol.
As for the battery percentage drop, from say 61 to 59%, it happens to everyone who uses iOS8.
