The release notes don't have any new fixes listed over 8.1.1 (although that doesn't mean there aren't any.) it seems to be mostly just focused on iWatch development.

Downloading right now expecting fixes wouldn't be a bright idea. It's not a full iOS upgrade but there will be more bugs. I can't wait for people to start asking about battery life! I'm sure it'll make it worse or same but not better :/

I would be cautious here. I suspect the 8.2 branch might not be finalized for some time. There may be a 8.1.2, 8.1.3, etc before we see a 8.2 final. You may end up stuck on a "newer" released focused on iWatch as opposed to an "older" release that actually has more bug fixes.

Just upgraded my iPad Air to 8.2 but iTunes is still showing it on 8.1.1 whereas the iPad itself is showing 8.2 ?

Anyone else seeing this ?

I'm a bit confused here - "Devices updated to iOS 8.2 beta can not be restored to earlier versions of iOS."

?

There doesn't seem to be any difference between 8.1 and 8.2, except for watch functionality. I wouldn't bother installing it yet if you aren't developing something for the apple watch because it appears all you get is beta instability.

Consider waiting for Beta 2.

Actually, they introduced a Notification Center bug that previously occurs only on Yosemite.

In today's view, the unit of temperature is no longer controlled by weather app but region settings. It is a little bit annoying because I cannot get temperature in celsius and distance in miles at the same time.

Maybe the 8.1.x branch is just done now and hopefully their best (or at least most detailed) talent is all on 8.2.x now. What's 8.3 supposed to be for, besides making older devices unusable?
