Wonder if we will ever see camera improvements for the iPhone 6.

Just cannot see this being it as intended. Something aint right with this thing.

Too much contrast for a start and not even mentioning the noise reduction.

I've heard this from a few. Really surprised reviewers haven't mentioned this at all, respected ones, such as Anandtech and ArsTechnica.

I assume it's not a hardware related issue? Sounds like software.

I'm guessing if there are going to be any changes, Beats music will be bundled in and there'll be a new fitness app to go with Apple Watch.

There is already a fitness app, it's called Health.
In regards to the other points you are probably right, it will certainly add Apple watch support and possibly the beats integration.

There's a health app, but there's also going to be a separate fitness app. It was only shown for a split second during the Apple watch presentation, but this is it.

It's shown in this video.

Apple's website also talks about an Apple Watch companion app on the iPhone.

According to youtube videos reviews iOS 8.2 vs iOS 8.1.1 and forums feedbacks seems that iOS 8.2 has better battery life and it is smoother and faster.

There's a video released showing iOS 8.2 running noticeably better on A5 devices than iOS 8.1.1. Seems like this update is much more worthy of "performance improvement" on the bug list. It's also on beta so extra background services will be running so except a bit faster performance when it arrives.

It's definitely software.

Remember the Z1 Compact had the same issue on launch with the automatic mode. Very same types of issue.

Took quite a few pics today in decent light and they came out really well I thought, so it's not a total loss.

I see.

Well Apple has somehow lately definitely declined in terms of releasing polished software for the iPhone.

Only bugs I have noted so far have been the mail app crashing and the camera freezing up. They are new to me. Overall functions including safari and just general use have been pretty solid.

Is this your normal usage pattern?
I'd love to get a 10% increase. :)

Yes I had to wait for few days so that I was done 'playing' with my new phone and back to normal usage :D

In comparison I had the iPhone 6 before this and it would die down in 24-26 hours with 4-5 hour of usage

This is my wife's iPhone 6 on 8.2 beta ... And hers usually died within 24 hours before but now look at the usage ... Incredible !
