I think this is new, or I'm just realizing it. You can report messages as junk if they aren't in your contacts list. I don't know if it's just iMessages or text too. I haven't gotten a text since I updated, only an iMessage.

I noticed the same thing after updating to Beta 3.. Never saw it before!

and this person i blocked previous!

Does 8.3 fix the back/forward arrows in Safari? Ever since iOS 8 the forward button has been slightly thicker than he backward arrow. Really brings out the OCD in me!

Please file a bug report at https://bugreport.apple.com/ and I'll do the same - be sure to attach your image.

iOS 8.3 beta 3 bug fixes and changes

So just got onto my PC to download the full install from my dev account and surprisingly and weirdly the file is named iOS9.zip. Anyone else encountered this or I'm the lucky one who will get to try out iOS 9 before anyone else but the Apple people? LOL
Joking aside, I'm definitely excited to try this beta as it brings the much needed Siri voice for Indian English. I cannot thank Apple enough for this as they've brought it at just the perfect time when Siri is going to be major part in communication what with the Apple Watch & HomeKit soon to be released. Also, curious for the speed & RAM improvements that this release has brought which in the case of 6 Plus are absolutely needed!

While things are considerably better, there are still annoying cosmetic bugs such as the dropped frames in the weather app and the thicker forward arrow in Safari (to name a few) as well as Mail, Carkit, Safari and Splashboard crashes (I see others such as assistant, data accessd, reminders and a number of others too) that I see consistently.

Here's hoping we get at least two more betas that continue the focus on resolving both the cosmetic and crash issues while amping up the performance on all currently supported devices.

Is the keyboard tap indicator when Reduce Transparency is enabled (iPad mini 2 / Air / Air 2)) fixed in this beta?

Thanks

For me, the emoji keyboard pops up correctly by showing the Frequently used tab first, but it hides the first column of it off to the left so I have to swipe right to see the 1st column.

iPhone 6, clean install

Seems 8.3b3 broke iTunes Match for me. It no longer updates automatically on my phone.

Yikes, lets hope apple catches it before GM. that'd be a deal breaker.

Music app (airplay in particular) is pretty broken on 8.1.1 and below in my experience paired with iOS 8 apple tv. <iOS 8 Apple TV, works alright. but i need HBO Go and Sho. Wish I stayed on iOS 7 Apple tv.

spotify has worked without hiccups.

Great – I never noticed that but now it’s going to annoy the hell out of me. Just like the folder animation bug. Gonna report that one.

iOS 8.3 beta 3 bug fixes and changes

General speed & responsiveness on 6 Plus is measurably improved with this beta - Music starts playing much quicker when switching with AirPlay than before (this is better even than in Air 2 on 8.1 which has generally been faster in all respects) , music app now opens quicker, links in safari take less time to load, multitasking seems faster. Yet the graphical stutters present since launch don't seem to go anywhere. You could say 6 Plus is now nearing the performance of Air 2 without the latter's graphical fluidness. I wonder whether 6 Plus really has the graphical prowess to ever give a completely stutter free experience?

Also found a new bug, there is no response when tapping on last photo taken in Camera.

Did they change the stocks icon before 8.3 or am I the first one to notice the change? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1426429072.800732.jpg

After running the beta for a few days, definitely seeing a huge performance boost on the iPhone 6 plus especially when it comes to RAM use. Absolutely flying compared to before. This is exactly what apple should be doing and I'm so happy they're doing these incremental upgrades now. If iOS 9 can bring stability with the new music service, public transport on maps, and default apps, I'll be ecstatic. Anything additional would be icing on the cake.

That sounds awesome. Since iOS 8 gave me pretty much all I wanted and more (IPL, extensions, widgets, continuity, handoff etc) I'm all for more core improvements on iOS 9 rather than features.

Hopefully, there are definatly some random UI glitches I have seen eg text overlapping the border in settings when rotating iPads.
However they are focusing on some of them for sure with 8.3 like ipad AirPlay menu is finally fixed and they also apparently fixed the famous folder corner glitch.
Seems like they are doing the right thing.

Yes it is! And when you do this: Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Zoom -> Choose Filter -> Low Light there is a kind of hang when you type on the keyboard very weird.

The stock app did indeed get a slight makeover with 8.3. And for the better! It looks more appealing now!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1426433462.975844.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1426433476.626733.jpg

What really bothers me that the only dark UI standerd app is the stocks app which not a lot of people use.. Make a dark UI for Messages, Phone, Mail, Music, Notes, Reminders. Apps that most people use of make a hole system wide dark/night mode should be great hopefully something for iOS 9 or at leas give us the option for the standard dark keyboard.

Sttutering in the scrolling is killing my user experience. The scrolling had always been so fluid and smooth that i can not get over the sttutering that plagues the scrolling on loads of apps. E.g. Scrolling through Artists view stutters where my 6 years old iPhone 3gs is smooth as silk. iOS 8 is beatiful but it just doesn't work up to old Apple standards imho.

Just installed this on my air 2 and am noticing a performance boost across the board. Can't wait for ios9 now if they are concentrating on bugs/speed.
