Yep. I went in at 10:50 EDT and it was available so I started downloading. It started at 3 minutes remaining, quickly jumped to 5 minutes, 8 minutes, and now it's up to "About 46 minutes remaining". Figures...

Well, after my previous post it downloaded rather quickly. Now it is finished downloading and is installing, but then I have to wait almost an hour for Music to go live!

I know this isn't the subject of this thread but I am still slightly confused as to whether or not I need to keep Match. I have had Match since its launch but this almost seems better I think...

Where is iOS Beta 3/2a? I'm panicking right now because I wanted to be live for the first broadcast!

Match is included. You can still get it separately if you don't want Music.

So if I want Music I just pay $9.99/month and cancel my $24.99/year Match subscription? That's what I'm confused about, Apple's site says the services are separate but complimentary. After updating, I went into my settings and Music and chose the subscribe to Music. On the screen that allows me to choose Individual or Family, it says "When you join, you will also have iCloud Music Library, which sends your music library information to Apple and stores it so you can access it from all of your devices". That sounds like Match to me so not sure what they're talking about when saying it is separate but complimentary?

You can try playing Beats 1 right from your music app now.

Beats 1 now plays something meaningless (ambient music), while someone is speaking behind the scene.

How? I don't see anywhere to do so in the Music App.
Tap Radio, and tap that huge "Beats 1".

I am listening the ambient music, which is a good way to calm down. :p

I don't hope apple will release a new beta software now.

Yeah I found it, I tried that before and the radio tab was still broken.
In my iPhone 6 plus and Australia it works fine.

Are you in US or Australia? I can hear someone saying "London", "Are you clear?" inside ambient music which is definitely not belonging to music itself, indicating Beats 1 is going on the final adjustments.

Ambient music putting me to sleep, except for the sound checks and asking London if everything is good. Kind of amusing.

The radio tab is only there for US and Australia, unless you're on 8.4.

I'm assuming the person who posted that has never heard of anti-trust laws. Apple Music isn't going to be for everybody. Spotify will still keep a bunch of subscribers. Then you'll probably have everybody else. Apple is offering what sounds like good integration with iTunes and iTunes libraries, and Spotify has been around offering streaming for a few years. Everybody else getting into the game, aside from Tidal, doesn't really offer much different. Plus artists seem to be supporting Apple Music a *little* bit more after the Taylor Swift thing, so it should be in good shape.

Prices will eventually go up, maybe to $11.99 or $12.99 per month. Eventually stuff will just cost more through inflation.

Totally agreed.
