IOS 8.4 will be available tomorrow for download tomorrow (8AM pacific time I think) and that includes the updated music app that has Apple Music, etc). In other words, once you download & install 8.4, it will be available for you.

There should be an iTunes update for OS X & Windows as well tomorrow.

I don’t know if it was there before or not, but I just noticed this: tapping on the Beats1 logo on the Radio screen (NOT the Listen Now button” will start playing a coming soon promotion message.

I've been finding it weird that there are still no prices listed on Apple.ca/Music.

I guess it'll be free for 3 months so there is time for them to negotiate contracts and list prices.

20 years from now I'll be telling my children what it was like when Apple Music and Beats 1 launched
Somehow I'm guessing this will not be much more than when lets say iTunes Radio launched, or Spotify launched, or something else of that sort--pretty much things that no one really talks about or cares much. They aren't really of much importance as far as history or society.

Beats 1 first guest is eminem. Well that's what you get if you let a rapper run a radio show. Plenty will like that but for my own musical taste I would had preferred Eric Clapton or John Mayer or Buddy Guy. He'll even Taylor swift would be better.

I'm sorry but that is simply not a big enough window for people to upgrade. I have a feeling some people will miss the launch.

Why can't they just release it tomorrow and give everyone 24 hours?

Because Apple is notorious bad at any online service. So the less people from the start the better.

Will it though???? Match lets me upload tracks not in iTunes, stuff Ive created myself....by all rumour accounts Apple Music doesnt allow this does it?

It will upload all your songs that it can't match. ALL your songs will live in the cloud.

For all you developers running iOS 9. I can confirm there will be a new seed released shortly after the 8.4. Just had an email Reply from eddy cue.

Maybe the people you listed might end up on there too. Never know. I thought Zane Lowe was the one in charge of Beats1? Articles keep listing him as the 'guiding voice', I know it was Trent Reznor who came up with the idea. Either way, neither are rappers....

Hope someone might help me with a question, not been getting good results off Google:

I'm an iTunes Match customer with a UK account. I've been waiting for years for iTunes radio to reach the UK.

iTunes Radio was available without ads to US customers, so ... does that mean I'll be able to have access to Beats 1 and Apples radio service without needing the Apple Music subscription? Or was the expansion of 25,000 to 100,000 songs on iTunes Match designed to bamboozle/distract iTunes Match customers?

iTunes Match with iTunes Radio also curated the radio to your music collection, so doesn't that basically make Apple Music's radio offering a simple rebrand of iTunes Match?

I have a feeling that the radio service is entirely behind the a la carte streaming paywall now?

Does anyone know if tomorrow's 8.4 will be any different than the current beta 8.4?
Music app icon will surely change. I have seen a refreshed icon when switching between regions. iTunes icon will change to the new one seen on wwdc as well.
