It's time like these that I wish I had a UDID and Dev Account to try out the new betas..

Maybe next year.

iOS 8 is broken. The moment you open any of the new apps the screen touch recognition is just completely off. You have to reboot your phone. Anyone else having this issue?

at least it's not a major bug in beta 1.....

I updated the phone maybe that's the problem but nonetheless this is a beta not an alpha!

Usually the first two or three betas are pretty bad in terms of bugs. From what I've heard, this is the same every year. It's why they generally recommend you wait if it's a device you use daily.

Could someone see if they at least fixed the long standing bug with alternative language Dictionaries? (i.e. you have to keep reenabling them)

Slightly silly question about reverting back to iOS 7...

I've got a proper dev account and really want to try it but I don't have a spare device to test on.... Apple say it's not possible to revert back to 7 once you install 8b1.... is this 100% the case or are there ways around it?

I signed up for my dev account between 7 and the 7.x betas so I was ok with those being a fairly quick turnaround with a stable(ish) base so I've not really had the need to try this so far, but would like to know whether reverting is actually possible before potentially crippling my iPad for a few months.
