Are your sources usually reliable? I really hope so! Also, are we going to see Yosemite releases at the same time? (I don't remember if that was the case with Mavericks, but since 10.10 and iOS 8 are so tied together... please ask your source?!)

What about that guy in the bar in Memphis?? What say he?

Same. For me, iOS 8 doesn't show my individual usage when plugged into iTunes. It says other takes up 6.2gb and there is no music, apps, etc.

I have no problem dealing with bugs on a beta, but I would like to be able to sync without issue. I get the same in iTunes, 26gig of other being used. I synced some of my audio books and they were a mess. Missing chapters and such. Looking forward to beta2.:(

iOS7 B1 ran much better for me when I set it up as a fresh device, without restoring from backup... but yeah, iOS8 B1 is much better then iOS7 B1.

You do know you can just downgrade back to 7.1.1 instead of mitching on this forum... I'm just saying...

7b1 had big crashes and resprings whereas 8b1 has an insane amount of small bugs that make it virtually unusable. I was able to put up with 7b1 but 8b1 is starting to make me consider switching to 7.1.1
That's my plan... I'm downgrading back to 7.1.1 and then picking this back up around b3. Keeping it on my test device, but thought I'd try to use it on my daily device and it's just not at that point yet. Which isn't a knock... It's completely expected.

Also, this is far less usable that 7.0b1... I was able to use that device on my daily device. It might restart every now and then, but when it was on, it was usable. 8.0b1 is not usable on a daily basis.

Agree. I'm almost at my tipping point to go back to 7.1.1 but I totally agree that 8b1 is a lot worse than 7b1.

I followed a suggestion I read on another site and RESTORED my iPhone with the ios 8 beta ipsw. After, I set my phone up as a new iPhone. I'vnt experienced many bugs. Mainly setting app force closes, auto brightness in settings doesn't work, slider for brightness doesn't work in settings. Known camera bugs and photos app bugs. Siri acts a fool when plugged in, hey Siri activates siri, but she doesn't respond after... There's probably a lot more but those are the ones that effect me.

One of these days--the only type of guess that will actually become reality.

 C DM, I know what you are trying to do, I remember from last year, please don't do this again, posting into threads to rain on everyone's parade and say that no one knows and that this kind of discussion is pointless.

It's just fun to try to guess, and I think it will be on Monday.

Really? I said something like that somewhere in this thread or in even in this iOS 8 sub-forum, aside from just giving my guess of it simply being one of these days? Maybe you don't agree with my guess, and that's fine, but perhaps you shouldn't try to assume something about other people's guesses and try to reinterpret and misinterpret them for others by trying to bring things up days later in a baiting manner?

People have been doing this for as long as I can remember. I don't understand what the big deal is about people speculating, but apparently it is to some people. Just ignore them.

Well I just wanted to know if that is what you were trying to do. I guess not, nevermind. All I know is you said something similar in the iOS 7 forum during beta.

Clearly, I didn't say anything of the sort here, so doesn't seem like there's any reason to imply that or try to stir things up out of nowhere.

I thought you were trying to stir things up in this thread. Your post made me remember last year so I brought it up.

Seems like reading into things that aren't there isn't all that good of an idea.

Definitely OTA. There will still be IPSWs, however, in case you are on 7.1.1 and want to go to 8 beta 2. In the past, beta to beta has always been OTA.

I know but it is terrible. I know it's a beta but this has been the worst one I have ran so far.

I agree. This beta has sucked so bad! haha. But the first beta of OS X Yosemite has rocked! So I'm alright with it. You can definitely tell where they spent most of their time.
