Agreed. This beta is far worse than the first betas for iOS 5, 6 and 7. Beta 2 can't come out soon enough.

How do you figure that? With pretty much the last 3 versions of iOS, new betas have come on Monday two weeks later.

Tuesday. Sometimes they have come Monday, but far more likely is Tuesday.

I've also seen betas drop late in the afternoon, so later today is not totally out of the question yet.
