Sorry if this was in earlier betas of 8, but in maps, it now has buttons for driving, walking, and opening directions in other apps. When you select where you want to go and it's giving you the route options, these options are just under the address bar.

beta 1 :)

Because there's some issue with it?

Yes there is. On my iPad Air Cellular model, wifi will occasionally stop working. It will be connected but no webpages will load. Disconnecting and reconnecting works briefly but I mostly have to use my data to do anything online.

Anybody else getting a glitch in the notification center where you missed a call but checked it in the phone app but it won't go away from notification center?

Yup same here, except for me it's on my iPad Mini and it's a Text Message from the Continuity feature with my iPhone 5. The notification doesn't go away.

----------

I have an iPhone 5 and has anyone noticed that the Cellular Network, Time, and Battery isn't showing at the top of the iPhone screen when you are on the Landscape QWERTY keyboard in "Messages" or is this on purpose (as a change) to be full screen?

My phone died when I wasn't paying attention and that bug seems to have gone away now.

I'm getting that on my 5S as well

Sounds like a change, could be a bug. Guess we have to wait and see until 8.0 GM or public release!

is it just me or is 4 the most annoying of the betas so far? the touch screen becoming unresponsive constantly is far more annoying then some of the bigger bugs in the first 3 betas.

True true.... Hope that Beta 5 is more stabel

New bug maybe. I keep taking Passbook out of "include" within Notification Settings. When I next access Settings, it's back within the "include" batch again!

Anyone else get this?

Hey all,

For some reason after the update I get no notification for phone calls at all. I'm being told it's going straight to voicemail. My phone doesn't ring, vibrate or nothing. I just get a missed call notification. The odd thing is this seems to only happen to certain people. At least it seems that way right now. I have tried resetting and checking to see if Do Not Disturb is on. I also reset all settings. It's almost as if it's acting like Do Not Disturb is on and letting certain people through. I can't explain going straight to the machine though. I updated from the beta before this one. Nothing is wrong with my cell phone provider either.

Any thoughts on what could be causing this? Suggestions?

Thanks!

Have you blocked those callers in their contact info?

Most likely intended. You wouldn't be able to see the messages screen with the new predictive text open if the status bar was there. Even like this, you are only able to see one line of text.

I haven't, no. One of them is my parents so I would sure hope not haha.
This started happening after the most recent beta update. It was fine on beta 4.

Hope I can figure this out or the next beta fixes the issue.

If anyone has any more thoughts, that would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Oh, that makes sense. It must be for predictive text. Still it freaked me out the first time I saw it. Actually, looks nicer.
