I'll have to agree. I'm not a developer but, being an technology enthusiast, I enjoy the beta process and trying out the features to come, albeit at a price. I don't think I'm going to tough it out this time. I do think iOS 8 is a very nice polish of iOS 7 and I'm content with it's features but it's just far too buggy for me. And I even installed 'as new', something I normally don't do from the get-go but it's just a bit too frustrating for a daily driver this time.

Inane terminology arguments aside, this isn't the most stable pre-release we've ever received.

I put the beta on my device and I've had an excellent experience. I've had some crashing and other strange occurrences but they are all minor. Frankly, I expected much worse. I took serious precautions, even backed up all of my icloud documents, notes, calendar, contacts, pictures, etc. because I've seen cases where a bad bug can corrupt icloud data.

But over all, it has significantly improved the battery life on my iPhone. I'm talking HUGE gains. And I am loving the ability to put minor Swift apps on my device as well.

Everybody it's a beta, if you are having trouble with crashes report them. After all it is for developers.
