Apple will hopefully change a few badly designed application icons with iOS 8. And, Apple will change all OS X icons to match the respective iOS icons.

Long time thread stalker, first time poster here! From what I've seen, the "backlash" from users seems to be quite small, mostly contained to forums like these, but that doesn't mean that we son't see refinements in iOS 8. It seems impossible now that 7.1 came out, and had some small refinements (darker telecommunications apps, slider, call screen (still don't know what they were thinking with that), slide to unlock, etc.)

There will always be minor changes, but it's going to be interesting. If Healthbook is the only thing we will see, then I don't think I am up for it.

Here's the evolution of iOS 8...

Why do I feel like whiteOS 7 has so much blank, empty space compared to previous version when it appears to be the most colorful version yet (in this photo). Does it not seem that there is white space everywhere? My heart palpitated when I saw the Health icon, haha.
