Is the iOS 7 GM a good update? I'm wondering if it's also a beta or not

Working pretty well on my iPhone 4S and iPad 3. Had some issues at first, but then erased the settings and haven't had any major trouble that I can think of. I'm kind of confused why there's no calculator in the control center for iPad and there is on iPhone, but that's minor. Telling Siri to turn Bluetooth/WiFi off is almost worth it by itself.

Yeah! me too after I reset my network setting and turned the Background App refresh everything went back to normal. Battery life is pretty good now

iOS 7 is actually quite good. If you are able to look past the design flaws (not the design itself) and try out the new API's, you will see that Apple has indeed worked on iOS quite a lot.

The look can be improved, features will come over time with updates.

Regardless of what most people are saying, it's still fun to work with.

PS: Sorry, can't resist. If you ever tried to program a half decent App for Android on 3 different devices, you would pray to all gods of the known universe to thank them for iOS.

Try coding Android with one tablet... It sucks!

The reason I say that is because at some point pulled engineers from OSX to help with iOS 7. So I believe iOS 7 never fully got done so they decided to make the apps just work and build features later on. I really think iOS 8 will be what apple planned for iOS 7.

iOS 7 is already what iOS 6 is, and iOS 3 was what iOS 2 should've been.

Other than that it's all fair.

iOS 7 is fully done. They pulled engineers so they could finish it on time for a new iPhone launch. That said, I do think you'll see a lot more added functionality in iOS 8 as a complete overhaul of the OS isn't necessary anymore.

No - IOS7 is what it should be - IOS 8 will be what it will be. And IOS 9 will be what it will be.
And we will still be getting threads like this when IOS2045 is released.
