Run 2 versions of OS X on different partitions. You don't need much space if you only need it for Xcode. Or just go back to 10.10 and run 2 versions of Xcode. It's how I've been doing it for years.
This is actually not a bad idea to create a second partition, I hadn't thought about that. Thanks !

It seems like in Beta 1 there was a setting under Accessibility to enable visual key presses on the keyboard (seen when Character Preview is OFF) but now it's gone.

I am seeing a couple of additions in Accessibility that (I don't think) were there before. Shake to Undo and Vibration (ability to turn those off completely).
I think those were there in beta 1 as well (at least I recall reading about them prior to yesterday).

No longer have rotation lock in CC on my 5s. Ringer switch activates it instead. Anyone else seeing this?

Did you change that setting in beta 1? What do you see instead of rotation lock in Control Center?

Radio working just fine for me ... Not sure but some pages back someone mentioned getting blank page

No I had left it set to mute. Nothing is in its place in CC, only 4 icons instead of 5

Interestingly I cannot even mute the phone by turning the volume all the way down

Think the "use side switch for:" in beta 1 screwed up your CC. I guess a clean install is your only way out.

Take it back, battery life is still crap when you are on the mobile network.

My standby and usage keeps showing the same duration (iPhone 6 plus). something is running in the background and i have no idea what. anybody else experiencing this?
Just checked after reading your message. Same for me. Looked through apps that are using location services and noticed that Runkeeper was using gps even though I'm not using it. Changed it's setting to allow it use location only while using it. Battery usage now showing less usage than standby.

Very bizarre. I updated by downloading the firmware, connecting to iTunes and doing alt+click on "check for update". I've tried rebooting several times :(

There is a switch. Under settings > general > Siri > audio feedback

Switch that to "control with ring switch" Siri will be silent when switch is muted.

Is anyone else being constantly hampered by Sign into iTunes Store requests?

I am trying to re-download my previously purchased apps but seem to have to enter my Apple ID and password each time (it doesn't even remember my Apple ID). I have installed beta 2 from fresh install, rebooted several times, and I have signed out and back into both iCloud and iTunes and App Store sections in Settings.

That was an issue with beta-1 as well.

If you hit cancel the first time and then tap the cloud again to download it should work fine. It does for me.

I have tried with that instant restart bug, and after competing restart, I can Only enter passcode to unlock phone, while mine does have Touch ID.
According to my most recent daily usage pattern test, battery life should be as great as iOS 8.4. I receives about 8 hours of heavy use this time.
Should be ^^ key word. I think that some of the current bugs are causing some extra CPU usage and maybe some RAM to be taken up. I suppose once all the bigs are fixed, the CPU usage and such will be lower, causing less overheating and processing power to be taken up, therefore leaving us with better battery life.
