I hope they adopt that everywhere, much better use of space for context menus and such.. The current options (I.e. Tap the camera in a message) just seem massively oversized..
Good change, me likey.
That's interesting. And would probably explain why it hasn't been something all that noticeable for many.Ah ha! I figured it out. They added something new to the setting Reduce Motion. I always have this on. I tried switching this off and the app switcher changed back. So, now we know this setting affects the App Switcher
Ok people...I know the switcher has changed compared to iOS 8...I'm talking about the size of the cards to the left in this PB 3 compared to PB 2.....ALL cards are the same size.

In my experience, crappy WiFi is more often due to the network's backhaul being *****, not the layer 2 connection to the wireless network itself.you are still connected to your local area network just fine, it's just that it has no outside connection. It seems that this isn't to detect whether or not the network you connect to has an outside connection but how weak of a connection signal you have to the network you are connected to.
A more robust implementation would certainly try to account for a lot of things, but an implementation that accounts for being at the fringes of WiFi coverage where it's enough to still have a connection to a WiFi spot but not great enough to do much with that connection, it's still something. I'm not saying it can't be better (or shouldn't be better), I'm just saying that this particular feature, at this particular stage of it, could be mainly relevant to that type of scenario than anything else that goes deeper and beyond that.In my experience, crappy WiFi is more often due to the network's backhaul being *****, not the layer 2 connection to the wireless network itself.
A good implementation of this would account for both scenarios.

I don't see it in Cellular settings...http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/134...w-to-use-cellular-data-whenever-wi-fi-is-weak
"If you're a part of the iOS public beta, you can update now and start using Wi-Fi Assist right away. You can find it in Settings under the "cellular" section."
I just noticed this today as well... now we just need the same fix in El Capitan! Or I wonder if the newer version of TLS was simply backed out...WPA2 Enterprise issues (like for connecting to eduroam) are fixed!![]()
Finally they realized that those piss poor wallpapers in iOS 8 needed a worthy replacement.
Seems like most people didn't even know about recent/favorite contacts as most don't even go to the recent apps screen (and would find it odd that it's there anyway).WTF! They removed recent contacts from the multitasking screen. Now I have to go to the home screen and swipe left, just so I could see my desktop Safari websites. Is it just me or did they really drop the ball here. Everything is just so easy on Android. I don't understand Apple's design philosophy.
