it's fun to guess people's personalities based on home screen organisation 😉

Thanks! Now I’ve learned that in Dutch you write the plural ‘s’ with an apostrophe (“Foto’s”). At least if the word ends in an unstressed vowel, as further researches have shown.

Yes that's correct.

It's Foto's, auto's (cars), iPhone's, euro's (dollars), piano's (pianos), etc.

As a German speaker this is strange for me. In German both ‘s’, the genitive ‘s’ as well as the plural ‘s’, come without apostrophe (“Fotos” for both). Only in rare cases an apostrophed ‘s’ appears for the genitive, for disambiguation (“Heidi’s [Bar]”). But that’s an anglicism.

I love threads that gain in information while going OT 😉

I'm sure he was asking for proof because the person he quoted gave a pretty specific time as to when GM was finalized. (End of last week) Which no one but Apple would know.

Just so everyone knows, this isn't a push notification. I can say this with certainty, because my iPad has not been used within the last 72 hours, and earlier today in the car when I unlocked it to jot something down in Notes, I received the pop up. I didn't have a wifi connection in the car, and it's a wifi only iPad. This is very clearly a hard coded time/date notification, as most have already speculated. The reasons why, we can only speculate.

Also, I restored my iPhone earlier because I've been having an issue with storage on the phone slowly depleting over the course of a few weeks with every version of this beta (iTunes will show 4gb free, phone will match at first, then over a few weeks will dwindle down to almost no free space available - despite iTunes showing the correct storage free) and after restoring and updating the PB, the pop up was the very first thing shown once the phone had fully restored from backup.

I've just had the message that there is a software update on both my iPhone and iPad this morning without changing the date.

When I go to the software update page, it is telling my that my iOS is up to date.

I'm running the latest PB on both devices

For everyone wondering what's going on with these pop ups.
If you're running beta as of 2 days ago your apple devices are currently running the GM of iOS 9

If you go to SETTINGS-GENERAL-ABOUT and scroll down to "Version" notice how it says iOS 9 nothing references beta anymore.

Had lots of calls today with cx's trying to understand what's going on. We've released GM already.

Im not sure if you are trolling or you are just seriously naive.

I think everyone can agree it is a timed message. Hopefully the beta will not expire before Wednesday... Which we will likely be fine. I have noticed over the last 3 days I have had more lag and crashes than the rest of the beta times. Feels like a bomb going off!.
