iOS5 \ 4S ...where we are at for JB

That's great, they actually did us a favor.
If Im on a JB firmware why would I want to update OTA to stock firmware anyway?😀
You know how many newbies on JB software would try to do the OTA update anyway if it was possible and then come here and post "my iphone is bricked"
I did an OTA update on JB firmware and now my phone broke😀

Eventually the dev team must figure out a way to jb the 4s without it being on 5.0.0, right?
Because if they don't, the only people who'll have jb phones are those that bought the 4s around launch and didn't update to 5.0.1.
What's the point of all that hard work if it'll only benefit such a small population of users?

And when they JB 5.0.1 a week or 2 later Apple might issue 5.0.2 that patches that JB hole.
What is the point, there's always going to be some left out believe it or not.
And there's others like you that have the option not to be left out and update their firmware anyway....
 
quick question,
How do I know if apple is still signing ios 5.0?
I tried to restore on 5.0 custom firmware and i got unknown error occurred (error11)
Does that mean I lost my opportunity?
Im stilll on ios 4.3.3 (iphone 3GS)

I know, I hate that, I wish we would go back to the days with only people with brains (and IRC access) would be able to do it. 😀 ahhh the old days.... I'm getting old i guess..
 
blah blah I had my screens mixed.. I know you can't JB a ip4s... This was suppose to go into the other thread asking if it's okay to update the ip4s to the new 5.0.1. Sorry for the confusion.

As always..no matter what phone, what firmware, what type of moon is outside or what season of the year is... if you want to Jailbreak or unlock STAY AWAY FROM ANY FIRMWARE UPDATE. That is always the rule.

LOL oh wow!... really? is that what you think?

I was referring more to the days where you make free Long distance call using a hacked phone, but, for the records, before JBme.com was release the only way to JB was using the alpha version of AppSnap. (JBme.com was he Moron-proof version to follow)
