iOS5 upgrade fails - HELP!

After about 50 retries I got it to work. It's restoring the apps as we speak.

Mine worked after I deleted the downloaded firmware file, let iTunes download it again and then proceeded with the upgrade.

I had the no error error message, and had tried at least 8 times.

6 hours to download the update. Seriously!?!?!?

I'm at 8 hours and counting. Been stuck at "Restoring iPad Software" for over an hour.

The "magical experience" promised by Apple is anything but.
