It's simple, every 2 weeks. Always been every two weeks, it won't change now. Only unknown is how many betas there will be, that depends on the new iPhone's launch.

The iPhone 3G came out July 11th, the 3GS came out on June 19th. It's not absurd to think the release date will vary by a month or so.
I agree. I think this one will be slightly earlier than last year. Though I personally hope it isn't, since I can't upgrade my phone until Dec. 26 on contract anyway, unless Verizon makes an exception (which I don't expect).

Yes, yes it is. (See iPhone 4S release date)

I HIGHLY doubt it'll be earlier. No upgrade till December isn't bad. You wont rush out and get the first batch which are sure to have issues. You'll have time to see what problems everyones having

Except the last update was 3 weeks and during ios 5 there were gaps of 3 and 4+ weeks between betas

Update: sorry I've just checked and this last update was 2 weeks. Just felt like longer.

Can't see it being as late as November - Apple release new iPods etc in the Sept/Oct timeframe in order to get shelves stocked up for Christmas shoppers. Leaving it till November would be far too late, as this would create a huge rush to get the product in time and therefore Apple wouldn't hit their predicted sales figures.

apple obviously change the pattern they used to announce iPhone at worldwide developers conference and now they're waiting to September when he do the iPod announcement, why would do not follow last years pattern as they've been following the patterns they have done before just like the iPad think about

....and it had a (slightly) different pattern for the iPhone 4, and the releases before that. Only Apple know when any new iPhone is going to be released, assuming we know a particular release date is incorrect, and liable to lead to disappointment.

true about the 4, but 4S was not announced at worldwide developers conference, unlike the iPhones before 4S they all were.
