So just opened this thread since I'd like to know your thoughts and predictions about this device and how likely would it be to launch alongside Air 5

The budget iPad’s usually get released in September. It should probably be a minor spec bump.

A14 and “maybe” 4GB of RAM. The budget iPad is priced so low that yearly updates are very minor. Last year the base storage was doubled from 32 to 64GB.

Doubled storage, A13 and True Tone display were the main highlights

It’s possible it will get the Air 3 body but definitely won’t be in this march event

Zero chance it’ll come out this spring with Air 5. It’s a late 2022 product.

A14, 3GB, 10.2”, 5G option.

Given iPhone SE 5G will have 3GB, it’s unlikely $329 iPad will have more RAM.
