Whichever gives me more chicks
Which color will give me the most status? I like looking down at others. Can I get it in a zebra pattern to have the best of both worlds?

I am a little torn because I think the black looks better for watching a movie, but white just looks sexy.
haha. I was thinking white alligator skin. But I will most likely go with camel.

I'm gay and I am not sure on the white! white phones/cars etc seem like black peoples bling to me!
Do they do checker plate for lesbians? or rainbow ones?
Even ITV Daybreak UK (morning TV) just commented it "and there's a white one for the girls" thats put me off now!
The black bars when watching back video would be kinda anoying on white!
It would of been great if they followed the ipod nano line and just anodised the back in colours!

according to the promo video white ipad is used by white people, black ipad by black people.
seriously apple? why not shoot some scenes with the opposite combination? Looks like this is done with intention. interesting.

I'll probably go white as it looks a bit more unique. I think a white iPad and a white case would look great

Forget color, they say that rear facing camera can make 720p HD movie but I am not clear what is the still resolution.. you know mega pixels... usually 720P has around 5MP? Does anyone know about this?

The iPod touch has HD video recording, yet has less than 1MP resolution for still shots. We'll just have to wait and see to find out the back camera's resolution, but I wouldn't keep my hopes too high, it the quality was that good (5MP), Apple would've flaunted it at the keynote. Sorry for going off topic btw, just answering his question.

I'll be getting a White one and I'm keeping my original.
I regretted selling my original iPhone, as it was in mint condition, and got caught in the 'sell old to pay for new' trap', when I didn't really need to.
My 3G & 3GS were no issue to sell, but the breakthrough product, should be kept, I think.
i was really disappointed when i couldn't get an iphone 4 last year. i'm making up for it by getting a white ipad 2 this year.

After thinking this over since it was announced yesterday, and looking over the images... I had first settled on white for something different and very unique but realized that the black looks more stylish and makes the screen look bigger, the camera is more hidden.
Plus I looked at my MacBook Pro and tries to imagine how it would look with the white around the screen. Yup it put me off.
Black for me... with the Green smart cover.

I would go for the white, but I am afraid of how bad black letter boxed movies are going to look against the white border.
