Ipad 2 in stock @ B&H photo/video

Got the shipping notice for my black 64GB ATT iPad on 4/1 (ordered around 1pm on 3/15, similar to another poster in this thread). I ordered with Next Day Air shipping (kind of stupid when it was a backordered item, but I wanted it as soon as possible once it came into the warehouse). The tracking number was sent to me the evening of 4/1, but it's not getting to me until tomorrow. I thought UPS usually delivered on Saturdays, so I was hoping they would get it here, but I guess it arrived in town too late to go out on a truck yesterday.

All in all, not too long a wait for something that's been so in demand, and it was really nice to not deal with the lines at the Apple stores.

USPS delivers on saturday, but UPS and FedEx both charge extra for saturday delivery.
 
I'm happy to report my 3/15 ordered ipad 2 64gb att black is now shipped, my 4/1 ordered ipad 2 16gb wifi white + ipad 2 32gb wifi black are also shown as new order processing!
 
You ordered a 32 black wifi on the first and it's processing, I ordered mine the 23rd and it's backordered. :(

Not necessarily. I ordered a Black 16GB Wifi and a Black 32GB Wifi on 3/27. When i checked the status on 3/30, it said "partial Update" and the 16GB had a status of "new order processing" while the 32GB was still "backordered". I received the 16GB on 4/1 and the status now says "partial shipped". His should have read the same as mine if they were sending out just one of them but its not, so I think they are processing both together which is weird.
 
White 16 GB WiFi ordered last night, and shipped this morning!

Also, I just called to check on my order, 32gb Black Wifi only ordered on the 18th, and I am 4th in line. They have only been receiving about 10 per day of that model according to the guy I spoke to. So for those of you waiting on the same model, theres some info for you.

WTF, they flag me as reseller and cancel my wifi only ipad 2 order, seriously? No one tell me I can't order more than 1...!???
 
I received a cancellation email for my order via email this morning so I call in, the rep told me the resale department flag me as a "reseller" so they cancel my order.
Honestly I am just buying them for my me and my family... I am very disappointed...

They probably googled your phone number and saw it on Craigslist.

I finally gave up on my J&R order (3/23) and placed an order with B&H yesterday around noon for a 16g black wifi. Order status is now: "In stock, order sent to warehouse."

Should've gone with B&H in the first place! Cancelled my J&R & Apple orders (so those still waitng just moved up a spot), now it's time to find a good case!! :D
 
Does any one know if I should return my iPad to b&h for the backlight bleed, or can I take it to an apple store.

I would consider it, depending on how far up the list you are at Macconnection. This morning that model was for sale at B&H, so that means they cleared out the backorder this morning. I'd call B&H tomorrow morning and see what they can do for you. Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and they'll have some available to sell to the public again.

I just canceled my MacConnection order and placed an order with BH. He said it could be a matter of days or weeks. He said they have 32gb IN STOCK if someone wants one.

I would do it if I were you. I was in the same boat, debating as to whether or not I should drop my J&R order. But I think B&H is getting daily shipments, my 16g black wifi shipped less than 24hrs after I placed the order yesterday. I think there's basically not even much of a "list" for this model at this point. And you can always cancel your other order once your B&H ships if you want to be safe
 
Did anyone get a shipping notice today?

Mine shows "In Stock, order sent to warehouse" ... But no shipping details.

I was hoping it would ship today, for Friday arrival.
 
Ordered a 32GB AT&T iPad2 on March 16th. Got it this afternoon. Their shipments seem to be ramping up.
 
I am told I can only order two, fine... so I reorder a ipad 2 white wifi with 2nd day shipping... I'll see how it goes.
