Ok makes sense, but then why was I told 2-3 weeks when I first placed my order. Why was I not told that the company was closing for a full 10 days and it might take well over a month or two for me to get my order. Just a thought, but I feel a bit deceived. Maybe it was just that single person that took my order.
If I could ID your transaction I would know which sales associate spoke with you and possibly I could recover our recording of the conversation. Right now I cannot say whether or not you were informed the iPad's availability was an ongoing issue, but I think, personally, it's been pretty much common knowledge since the new version was introduced and particularly in the wake of the tsunami.
Our Passover hiatus is widely reported and we start, almost a month before the event, posting notices about it on our home page, on every page in our site and on Twitter, Facebook etc. We make Herculean efforts to ensure this is as well known as can be.
I do regret you were left feeling deceived.
