Damn...
I don't think I can get her to wake up that early and wait for more than an hour without the opportunitie to do anything...
But thanks for the help.
What do you think about the possibility to get an iPad of the first generation at pentagon city?
I got mine there yesterday. I was in lint at 7am. There were 15 people in front me. There was really no actual line since there are benches and everyone was just sitting, reading and waiting. The apple guy came out at 7:45 and gave out tickets. They had many, esp. WiFi models. Basically, even the people that came at 8am got a ticket. After you get your ticket you can just roam around the mall and you must return by 10am or they will give away your ipad. So if you can convince her to get there by 8am on a weekday, you should be fine. She will not have to wait more than an hour since they start selling the ipads at 9am.
FYI. Just don't let her go to the Georgetown Apple store. Lines there are crazy!!! Too many tourists and students, and you have to wait outside...in line. Pentagon City is the bet place to go for an ipad if you are in DC and it's on the metro so it takes about the same time to get there, since there is not metro in Georgetown anyways.
