These don't cut out all the bugs (the keyboard lag is STILL present in Safari) but they do actually help quite a bit.

Yes, the keyboard lag is a bug that was introduced with iOS 8 for iPads, and it affects the newest iPads as well.

And Wifi if you do that. Also if you have ICloud Keychain enabled, if Wifi gets reset on one device it gets reset on all devices. Have no idea why that is, but I've found if I reset all settings on say my iPhone, once I set Wifi back up, my iPad loses Wifi.

The same exact thing happened with me. I "reset all settings" on my iPhone 6 when I took it into the Apple Store Genius Bar with poor battery life, and it wiped out all wifi networks/passwords on iPhone, but then pushed that "clean slate" or no wifi network/password info to my iPad and MacBook Pro via iCloud Keychain.

Apple's phone support is telling me that there is "no way" that could have happened.

Which goes to show they don't use their own products or have never reset their devices since it's easily reproducible.

Basically my ipad 2 under the same settings feels faster then 8.3; and it's been a while, but the ipad 2 was better than 7.1.2 on one of the 8.x point releases.

On all my ios devices I have reduce motion and reduce transparency set to on.

8.4 has been pretty smooth on my iPhone 6, but not so smooth on the Air2, especially with Apple music. Tonight I decided to do a restore on my iPhone, because it kept saying I was almost out of space despite iTunes saying I had over four gigs available. After a backup and restore, lo and behold I actually do have 4 gigs available. I've been doing OTA updates since I can last remember. 8.4 is buttery smooth now, even more so than before the restore. Totally see the value in doing clean installs, and then restoring after each update. The storage issue had been driving me nuts! My iPad on the other hand...ehhh. Very buggy.

The iPad Air 1 is completely garbage on the Music app, it lags it crashes, it doesn't let you select individual albums... I tried as other user said using the app without the wifi but using the iPhone as hotspot and it actually works... Still lags but it works.
