I sure hope not. Plus I updated to 4.3.1....I hope that wasnt a mistake.
No. They would release a jailbreak that supports ios devices 4.3 and earlier.
They do it this way so apple won't have a chance to close their exploit until their next ios release which will happen months later.
If you're waiting for a jailbreak, why would you update? If you have done the SLIGHTEST bit of researching on this forum or any jailbreak forum, you would know NEVER to update until it is clear that a jailbreak exist for the firmware that you are updating to.
If the jailbreak doesn't support 4.3.1, you have NO ONE to blame but yourself.
comex and many others from the dev community have already stated that they were waiting on 4.3.1 to make sure their exploit wouldn't be patched in the new version. Its also speculated that they may have an exploit that may not be patched due to hardware flaws that existed in the first chip (a4).
Well if one wishes to take a pessimistic view the iPhone 5 will also be out shortly perhaps they will also hold it for that? Or for 4.3.2?
I own 1 of only 150 iPad 2 in Newfoundland, if only there was a jailbreak. Can't take the normal layout of the springboard.
Historically, the dev team releases jailbreaks or updates to various jailbreaks on Sundays.
They release in the morning usually

I can't wait to install infinifolders again, hate having 3 different game folders. Also retina pad will be nice. Actually do miss installous I purchased an few ipad apps that I wish I would have tried first (Yes I actually do buy apps, just like trying first). Damn GV Connect was supposed to let me make calls using Google voice, but you have to install another app that is only iPhone sized.

I agree, I switched to Android from iPhone on my phone... love Android's customizability on their phones... they're better... but Apple's tablet is better** (when Jailbroken) than Xoom... so need JB immediately to make iPad usable
Whether it was meant seriously or jokingly, I think the comment was out of line. The folks who do the jailbreaks use and give their skills and time without any real desire for reward. After reading similar and even worse comments across multiple forums, I'm surprised the jailbreakers even continue their work.
It's grown into something for too many that's an expected entitlement through near demand instead of something that's eagerly awaited through patience.
