Wow! I had no idea. I have an iPad 1 with AT&T 3G and was going to upgrade to iPad 2 with Verizon. But I think if this doesn't change I'll sticking with AT&T. I owe this furom a lot. Thanks.

What is the limit of ipad2's per customer?? Anyone know??

For launch weekend I would go in expecting it to be one per person and form of payment (ie you can't bring your brother and have you pay with your credit card). Same thing they did last year.

If it turns out that they make it something different yeah.

Agreed. The moment I saw the activation fee AND the part about if you turn it off for more than 3 months, you'll get charged the fee again. Well I hope that Apple isn't making a lot of Verizon ipads. Cause they aren't likely to sell.
