iPad 2 Shipping Estimates Drop to 1-2 Weeks in Several Countries

I ordered mine back when the delivery time was 4-5 weeks. It came ten days early. Original delivery date was April 28. It came on April 18. 🙂

Funny they just bumped my delivery date BACK a week? I ordered over three weeks ago and know the delivery date is 5 weeks from when I ordered!
 
Love my iPad (one?) but decided to get a new macbook yesterday instead of getting in line for a iPad2. Maybe for Christmas...
 
From ordering April 8 (2 weeks ago) mine is due May 2 (another week+). It would be nice if I got it next week and not the following Monday. I just got tired of going to the stores and they not having what I want. For the money I was not going to settle and it's not like my iPad1 isn't working fine. 😎
 
I ordered mine late last night, prior to the new shipping times. My order was scheduled to arrive on May 10, now it says May 4th. Giddy up!
 
Just got the shipping note from Apple, my iPad shipped today, engraved and all. But accessories ship in may?!?!

In that case you must be a consultant in name only. If that was your profession you'd have a better grasp of the inevitable result of supply and demand imbalances.
 
Duff-Man says....I ordered one for Mrs Duff-Man on April 4 (2-3 week shipping) and there's been no change, still says it will ship next Monday.....oh yeah!
 
I ordered one on April 5th and it hasn't shipped yet! Yeah, the shipping times are going down. HAH! I really expected it to ship by now after hearing about all the rumors that shipping times were coming down but I don't believe it at all.

It's a white 32 Verizon.

Sure, I guess if it ships today, it's a week early. Yep... 😕

And so far the only ones that I have seen in the wild are the 16 black wi-fi only models which is exactly what I already have in a first gen...

Not really as there aren't infinite people in the world and given the amount of original iPads sold versus the manufacturing capacity of Foxxcon, there must be a finite length of time for them to fill the initial large blip of orders from nutters like us and then settle into a stock surplus.

I went to two apple stores today very early in the morning. the first one was FILLED with those scumbags. I ended up cutting a bunch of them.
