These are what I designed - extremely stable, holds both iPad and iPhone at the same time, allows both to be connected to 30pin cord, can hold in vertical or horizontal position. Definitely not the typical robot-style stands that click and snap and fold and bend. These will both hold iPads that are in cases up to an inch thick too.

iPad 2 stand suggestions

not sure if you are looking for a static stand or a portable dynamic stand. check out the "smart stand" that is magnetically operated. it is portable and it can be used in the office or in the car. search on youtube for "infiniapps ipad stand", or search for it on eBay. i've been happy with this product.

Groovystand iPad Stand

I have a Groovystand, they are beautiful and work as advertised
I might also get the charging iPad frame, which charges your iPad while it is displayed in a picture frame, made of wood also. http://www.theipadframe.com

For those that use the Apple Wireless Keyboard, I suggest taking a look at the Incase Origami Workstation, a protective case for the keyboard that "unfolds" into a stand that holds the iPad (either model, either orientation) securely. No problems with either the SmartCover or a back case. Very clever design.

Sells for $30.

This is my second post about it, but I am still looking for someone who has a DoveStand (www.atekdesign.com). I am looking for a stand as well but I am the kind of guy who has to read 300 reviews of any product before I buy it:p But it looks like I am going to be the one to write the review first.

But anyway it looks like a good stand design if you are into wood and natural products.

My favorite stand is the Wedge-E

Hi Everyone,

I found a really cool one called the Wedge-e and i purchased it from their site www.wedge-e.net just wanted to share the info.

Its the best one i've found so far. Super comfortable and is offered in like 5 or 6 colors. My job requires travel and its awesome on the plane!

Hope you find the info helpful.

Jadu's Skadoosh for me!

I've had the Joule by Elementcase and then a few covers with a built in stand. I just recently got the Skadoosh by Jadu and it is by far the best stand I've used. Extremely well crafted.
