iPad iPad 2 upgrade. Mini 2/3 or iPad Air 2

Since you keep your devices for a long time, as do I, the Air 2 is the absolute best way to go. The Air 2 has double the amount of RAM of the original Air, and the retina mini's. The Air 2 should last you much longer than the single generation different from the Air/Mini 2/mini 3.
