iPad 2 upgraders - what did it cost you?

I sold my 32 GB iPad 2 for $300 and bought the new iPad 32 GB in white for $638.53. So apparently it cost me $338.53, kinda a lot of money.

Before anyone tells me I got ripped off on my iPad 2, I sold it to a friend for a good deal.

Sold iPad 2 16GB for $425. And bought iPad 3 16GB for $499. So about $75. Not too shabby.
 
Netted $440 on eBay for 32GB iPad 2 after all eBay, Paypal & Shipping fees.

Bought new iPad 32GB Wifi for C$619 + 13%tax = C$700

Total upgrade cost = C$260

iPad 2 was bought on May 10th 2011.

Total Cost of Ownership for iPad 2 32GB wifi for 10 months = C$26/mo
 
Sold my 16GB White iPad 2 for $520 with Blue Leather Smart Cover and Camera Connection kit. Bought the new iPad 32GB White for $640. Paid $120 and got an upgrade in storage which was desperately needed. Plus, I have $100 in a combination of Best Buy RewardZone Coupons and Gift Cards so I'll re-buy the Leather Smart Cover and Camera Kit there. All in all, I don't think I got such a bad deal.

Sold iPad 2 for: £260

New iPad: £399

Costing me £139.

So basically costing me about 38p a day in rent over near enough a year. Not bad.
 
Sold my iPad 2 16GB on the day it was announced that an event would be held on the 7th, i'e on the 29th of April.

Agreed to sell it for £275 to a guy but the scumbag only had £250 on him but I agreed to take the offer anyways.

Bought for £399
Sold for £250

Loss Statement: £149


Ordered a 32GB WiFi iPad 3 for £469.20

All worth it for the Retina Display and sick graphics in Sky Gamblers. :)
 
I sold the iPad 2 wifi 16gb for $310 and purchased the equivalent new one for about $535 with tax. Upgrade price: $225.

Bought new iPad 16GB Wifi $532.00 (with tax)

upgrade cost $152.00
 
I bought a used iPad 2 with AT&T 3G off eBay for $519 w/case (warranty until 8/2012) around Christmas.

Sold it for $564 less eBay fees and netted $529 about 5 weeks ago.
Sold the case for $20 locally to a friend.

So a little over $90 for a 2->3 "swap" including tax but will need to buy a new case.
 
Sold iPad 2 16GB to a friend for $400 last week

Bought new iPad 32GB for $599

Cost $199 for double to storage and newer model

BUT I had $350 in Apple gift cards saved up from the past year.

So, all in all, I think I did alright.
 
Sold iPad 2 64GB WiFi only model May last year for $659.68 (Final price after BS eBay & PayPal fees)

Purchased new iPad 64GB ATT 4G model for $878.74

Total cost to upgrade: $219.06

Sold my white 32GB WiFi+3G(AT&T) for $500 on Craigslist last week.

Bought the white 64GB WiFi+4G(AT&T) for $829.

So it cost me $329.
 
I'm in Australia.

I sold 64GB Black 3G, with smart cover and dock (and power support screen) for $720 through eBay. I purchased it on release date.

I ordered a 64GB White 4G/3G with a new dock. Australian pricing is $899 and the dock is about $40.

So the upgrade cost me $240 plus eBay fees, plus a new screen protector.
I'm happy with that.
 
Sold iPad 2 for £340, original cost £400. Ordered same 16gb/wifi/white model of new iPad so cost:

£60 / $95 (or 25p / 40 cents per day over the ownership period)

I'll take that for the retina :)

Kept smart cover given the rumours about marginal depth increase.
 
Sold White 16GB iPad 2 with Wi-Fi and light gray smart cover in early January. I wanted to beat the fire sale I knew would happen in late February and early March.

$460 - sale price on eBay
-$40 - shipping/PayPal/eBay fees

-$798 - new White 32GB iPad with Wi-Fi, dark gray smart cover, AppleCare+, and Texas sales tax

=
$378 - TOTAL UPGRADE COST

Not too bad considering what I'm getting, plus with AppleCare+ I'll be protected for two years.
 
32 GB wifi sold: $500 (CL -2 wks ago)

32 GB wifi new ipad cost: EPP discount $587 + $35 tax = $ 622

$122 upgrade

Sold iPad 2, 16gb wifi for 400 (with a 20$ case that was all mangled after a lot of usage)

picking up new 16gb wifi for 520 (canadian) plus taxes = around 580,

hoping to find a similar case on amazon for about 20,

so about a 200$ upgrade

A little more than I would have liked, but whatever
