Did anyone notice this yet. Just curious not that it matters maybe for the gyroscope but I doubt it.

It seems unreasonable to expect the center of gravity to be exactly in the middle as it isn't symmetric inside. Do you think it is particularly far from center though?

A little off center seems noticeable. Don't think it matters just curious is all.

how did you even notice the uneven weight distribution? like how would you have to hold it to tell?

The left is lighter than the right side, as the circuit board is on the left and the battery is everywhere else.

Yeah hold it on the left side then the right side. You can notice the diff that way as well

Just doing a casual balance on my fingers, I can't detect any noticeable off-center CG. I have a balance jig for model aircraft I could use to get a fairly accurate measurement, but frankly, I don't see anything that would warrant the effort.

yah any weight difference is going to be negligible during normal use. i can't imagine any real life situation where you would be balancing the ipad right in the middle with your finger tips.

Yeah hold it on the left side then the right side. You can notice the diff that way as well

Try balancing it on your fingers directly under the camera and the home button. It sits level, for me. (It should go without saying to do this over a pillow or something soft in case it slips...)
